Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy was one of the most talented actors in the Telugu film industry. With a career spanning over five decades, the late actor worked in more than 350 films. However, it was on November 15, 2022, when the talented actor bid farewell to the world. November 15, 2023, marked the 1-year death anniversary of the legendary actor. And for the same, his son, Mahesh Babu, and his wife, Namrata Shirodkar paid tribute to the late actor in an extremely praiseworthy way.
In remembrance of the late actor, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, Mahesh Babu and his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, held a memorial in Hyderabad. As per a report by India Today, to pay tribute to the late actor, the husband-wife duo also founded Superstar Krishna Educational Fund. As per the report, through this initiative, scholarships will be provided to the students from school to post-graduation level. The initiative will help out 40 students in need.

On October 15, 2023, Mahesh Babu dropped some heart-melting posts on his late father, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy's first death anniversary. Taking to his X (previously Twitter), Mahesh Babu dropped a throwback photo of the late actor. On his IG handle, Mahesh Babu posted a photo from the memorial that he hosted. Sharing the photo on his IG handle, Mahesh Babu penned:
"One year of missing you...Superstar, always and forever."
For the unversed, it was back in 2020, when Mahesh Babu and his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, also co-founded the Mahesh Babu Foundation. Through this initiative, the celeb couple aimed to provide financial aid to children having heart-related conditions. For those who don't know, Mahesh Babu and Namrata came across the idea as their son, Gautham was also born with a heart ailment.

It was back on National Cinema Day on October 13, 2023, when Sitara Ghattamaneni posted a throwback photo with her family members. The photo featured Sitara posing alongside her mom, dad, brother and her late grandpa. Sharing the photo, Sitara penned a long note and heaped praise on her papa and grandfather. Sitara wrote that cinema was in her DNA. She also added that Mahesh Babu is her inspiration and the 'titan of the silver screen'. She also penned that Mahesh Babu's inspiration was his papa, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy. In the concluding segment of her note, Sitara showered love on her grandpa and called him the legendary evergreen superstar who has a profound impact and influence on her and her family members.
