Mahesh Bhatt made an appearance on the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2 to support his daughter, Pooja Bhatt for the family week episode. However, it was his behaviour with two female contestants including Manisha Rani and Bebika Dhurve that left the netizens irked. In fact, they brutally trolled him for his pervert behaviour that too in front of his daughter, Pooja Bhatt.
In a video that has been making rounds on the internet, we can see Manisha Rani running to meet Mahesh Bhatt. She touched his feet to take his blessing, but he instantly held her and touched her feet back. Holding her shoulder, Mahesh Bhatt said, "Kabhi tauheen nahi karna meri age ki." Manisha excitedly told him how lucky she was to meet him. To which, Mahesh Bhatt said:
"Khamoshi mein vartalaap karte hai."

After this, Mahesh Bhatt kept looking at her face, and she felt uncomfortable. To which, Mahesh Bhatt said, "Dekh nahi paa rahi meri aankho mein." After this, he kept petting her head and even touched her cheeks with both his hands. Mahesh Bhatt was also touchy with another contestant, Bebika Dhurve.
As soon as the video was uploaded on the Twitter page of Bigg Boss OTT, netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "Dekhne mei hi itna uncomfortable feel ho rha hai, Manisha ko kaise feel hua hoga. Meri ankho mei dekho kya tha be ye." Another user commented, "He's making her and us uncomfortable." One netizen quipped, "Abey Wo Manisha hai Malaai Chap nhi joo bukhoo ki trh dekh raha hai."

Later, in the show, Mahesh Bhatt recalled how his daughter, Pooja Bhatt had helped him and shared the responsibility of their house, when his films were not working at all, and he had faced a difficult time. Mahesh Bhatt also spoke about the time when he struggled with money and wasn't even able to earn Rs. 1500. He revealed that Pooja stepped into modelling at a young age and helped him during the difficult time. Mahesh Bhatt also revealed that his daughter is like a godchild.
