TV couple, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, are currently making headlines for reportedly hitting a rough patch in their 14 years of marital bliss. For the unversed, Jay and Mahhi got married in 2011 and embraced parenthood in 2019, by welcoming a baby girl, Tara. They are also foster parents to Rajveer and Khushi, whom they welcomed to their home in 2017. Now, amid the separation buzz, Mahhi Vij took to her Instagram Stories and shared a cryptic post.

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are considered among the most adorable couples in the Indian TV industry. However, the duo, who were once known for their collaborative videos, stopped appearing together online after June 2024. They made their last public appearance together for their daughter, Tara’s, birthday in August 2025. Now that the duo is reportedly parting ways, Mahhi Vij shared a cryptic note on her Instagram Stories on October 27, 2025. The note can be read as:

"May we always have the money to buy the things that we screenshot."

In 2011, the much-in-love couple, Mahhi and Jay, had a secret wedding. The duo had a grand wedding in Las Vegas again in 2014. However, their seemingly happy family is reportedly breaking up. Jay recently shared cutesy pictures and videos featuring him with his daughters from a foreign trip. And as per a Hindustan Times report, Mahhi shifted to a new house with the kids two weeks ago.

Although Jay and Mahhi haven’t made any official statement about their separation, a source told Hindustan Times that the separation happened a long time ago between Jay and Mahhi. The couple tried very hard to mend their relationship, but nothing changed. The source was quoted as saying:

"Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers have been signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided upon."

The speculation that Mahhi and Jay’s marriage is hitting a rough patch and that they are considering parting ways has been making headlines for quite some time now. Talking to Hauterrfly, Mahhi shared that even if something is wrong in her marital paradise, she is not okay with sharing it with others. She mentioned that people are just assuming and blaming her and Jay without knowing any facts. Visibly upset with the ongoing buzz, Mahhi said:

"Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee? Why do people make such a big deal out of somebody’s divorce or separation? I see people writing in my comments section, ‘Mahi toh decent hai, Jay aisa hai’. Then somebody else writes, ‘Jay accha hai, Mahi hi aise hai’. They just want to blame someone. Do you even know the truth? What do you know?"
