Mahhi Vij SLAMS Reports Claiming She And Her Husband, Jay Bhanushali Are Splitting, 'Shame On You..'

Popular TV couple, Mahhi Vijj and Jay Bhanushali, have always given fans relationship goals. They had a private wedding in 2011, and in 2014, they held a grand marriage ceremony in Las Vegas, which served as their destination wedding. Now, there have been strong rumours doing the rounds that everything is not fine between the pair and they are heading for a separation. Mahhi lost her cool recently and took to her Instagram Stories to slam media reports.

For the unversed, Jay and Mahhi are parents to a baby girl whom they named, Tara. They are also foster parents to their caretaker's kids, Rajveer and Khushi. Now, Mahhi, a while back, took to her Instagram Stories and slammed reports which speculated that she and Jay were heading for a split. She expressed her anger over the baseless reports and rude comments and clarified that all is well. Mahhi's Instagram Story read:

"Some channels and Insta pages have lost dignity and humanity. Just for a few likes and comments, shame on you.’'

Mahhi did take a dig at the channels that alleged false claims for viewership. For a while, there has been gossip going around that Mahhi and Jay have been facing issues in their marital life and may get separated pretty soon.

When Mahhi Vij shared that she did not need the permission to ask anyone if she wanted to divorce Jay Bhanushali

Mahhi earlier sat down for an interview with the Male Feminist and addressed reports that claimed of issues in the life of the actress and Jay. Mahhi shared that she did not have the need to address the rumours and revealed that the audience is not her uncle or lawyers who will pay her fees. Mahhi shared:

“Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee? Why do people make such a big deal out of somebody’s divorce or separation? I see people writing in my comments section, ‘Mahi toh decent hai, Jay aisa hai’. Then somebody else writes, ‘Jay accha hai, Mahi hi aise hai’. They just want to blame someone. Do you even know the truth? What do you know?"

Mahhi continued in the interview that people in India look at single moms and divorces with a biased viewpoint. There is an assumption that a lot of drama will be there, and a huge issue is created out of it. Mahhi spoke about the fact that people are assuming that she will throw mud at Jay. Mahhi and Jay enjoy parenting- Tara, Khushi and Rajveer. A lot of gossip was doing the rounds that Mahhi and Jay had separated and were co-parenting their children. The couple kept silent over the matter, but Mahhi then had to speak up. The actress is best known for her role as 'Nakusha' in Laagi Tujhse Lagan. She was also seen in Balika Vadhu and has done reality shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Nach Baliye. In her words:

"I feel there’s a lot of pressure from society. Just live and let live."
