Mahhi VIj Makes A Comeback With Colors 'Seher Hone Ko Hai' Amid Divorce Rumours With Jay Bhanushali

Mahhi Vij made a strong footing in the television industry with her debut show, Akela, in 2006. However, she got her breakthrough as the 'Nakusha' in the show, Laagi Tujhse Lagan in 2009. After more than a decade of break, the actress is making a comeback with Colors' show, Seher Hone Ko Hai. The show came at a time when buzz about Mahhi's divorce had been rife.

After more than a decade-long break, Mahhi Vij is all set to make a comeback with the TV show, Seher Hone Ko Hai. In the show, she plays the protagonist's mother, and it seems she will portray a challenging role as a Muslim mother fighting for her daughter's rights. The teaser of the show was released on October 29, 2025, and Mahhi looked beautiful in the role.

It is worth adding that Mahhi had prayed extremely hard to get good work. In one of her vlogs, she expressed how difficult it was for her to get good work flow. She expressed her happines and gratitude over getting good story and good role.

Mahhi Vij breaks the silence on her divorce buzz

 It is worth mentioning that reports of Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij's separation have been making headlines since the start of the year. It all started after the two stopped sharing content with each other on social media. In fact, Mahhi even stopped showing Jay in her vlogs, and it was always about her with her children. But it re-ignited after reports claimed that they had separated in July-August 2025.

When the news reached Mahhi via an Instagram post, she made sure to teach them a lesson. She broke her silence and stated that she would take legal action against the people spreading false narratives. The post was captioned as "It’s Over? After 14 years of marriage, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are heading for a divorce." Below it, Mahhi commented:

"Don’t post false narratives. I will take legal action against this."

For the unversed, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are the most loved couple. Jay was madly in love with Mahhi, but she didn't immediately respond to his proposal. After which, Jay took his own sweet time when Mahhi felt an inclination towards him. The two got married in a hush-hush wedding in 2010. 

Recently, reports surfaced that Mahhi and Jay were reportedly planning to divorce. The two have been together for 15 years and are blessed with a daughter, Tara, and they are foster parents of two kids, Khushi and Rajveer. A source close to the couple said:

"Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers have been signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided upon. Once known for their joint vlogs, they’ve stopped posting pictures together. Their last collab family post was in June 2024.""
