'Punjabi Bhangra te makhan-malai, Punjabi tadka te dal frai, Tuhanu Lohri de lakh lakh vadhai!' Lohri is considered to be one of the most popular festivals observed among the Punjabi community. It is also known as the festival of harvest and it brings good luck, happiness and prosperity in the family. They make sure that even the newest member (be it a bride or a baby) of the family remembers their first Lohri. To celebrate the festival, friends, family and relatives gather around a bonfire and throw sweets, popcorns and puffed rice in the flame. This festival holds a lot of importance among the Punjabi folks. Television actress, Mahhi Vij also shared a cute wish for her daughter, Tara Jay Bhanushali's first Lohri. Jay Bhanushali and his wife, Mahhi Vij are on cloud nine as they got blessed with a little angel on August 21, 2019. Their happiness can clearly be seen on their Instagram feeds which are filled with their baby girl's cute glimpses and notes. And it was on Jay's birthday (December 25, 2019) when we had first seen the full picture of Tara. On January 13, 2020, Mahhi took to her Instagram handle and posted a cute video while holding her daughter. Alongside it, Mahhi wrote a cute Lohri wish for her that can be read as "Gift from god. My baby @tarajaybhanushali happy lohri #happylohri #firstone." Check out the video below:
It is not just the parents, Mahhi and Jay, who are excited to nurture their daughter, but their entire friend circle is also excited as they all are waiting to meet the princess of Bhanushali family. Television actress, Yuvika Chaudhary posted an adorable picture with Tara on her Instagram handle. In the picture, we can clearly see her happiness while holding her. On January 3, 2020, Mahhi had posted a cute video of her daughter, Tara as she had completed 5 months. Along with it, she had written a cute note that could be read as "Happy 5 months my baby @tarajaybhanushali u have given me everything that I once asked god.you have put the colour inside my heart. I believe that God sent you in my life to give me something to fight for, to show me there is love in this world, to give me hope n bring me joy, all the proof in God I need is in you I love you TARA." In an interview with the Bombay Times, Jay had shared his happiness on becoming a father. He had said, "I can’t describe the feeling. I have just become the father of a very beautiful child and I thank God for being kind to us. She is a little angel and I can’t wait to bring her home. I wish to give her all the happiness in life, and that will be my aim now. My other two children will also be delighted to have a new member at home."

Just a week before the birth of his baby girl, the actor has expressed his wish of having a girl in an interview with the IANS. Jay had stated, "No relationship in the world can match the sanctity of a father-daughter relationship. I wish that my wife gives birth to a baby girl. I have no gender preference and it is not that I won’t like it if it’s a boy. It’s just that I have experienced the father-son connect with my dad, and now, I want to see how a daughter bonds with her dad."
