Mahhi Vij was admitted to the hospital on November 6, 2025. The actress's publicist informed the same on social media, revealing that Mahhi had an extremely high fever due to which she had to be hospitalised. The news left her fans concerned. However, Mahhi reassured her fans that she was in good hands. While she remains in medical care, Mahhi has shared an update on her health.

On November 7, 2025, Mahhi Vij took to her Instagram handle and shared a video message for her fans. The actress asked her fans to keep her in their prayers, revealing that she still had a fever and shivers. She shared that her reports for Malaria, Typhoid, and Dengue had come back negative, meaning she had a severe case of viral. She was quoted as saying:

"Hi guys, just giving you an update about my health. This morning I got a fever and shivers again. My dengue test has come back negative. Malaria and typhoid tests have also come back negative. It’s viral. It’s severe viral."

In the same conversation, Mahhi Vij revealed what she was most upset about. The actress shared that what ached her most was not being able to work. Mahhi revealed that she was working on her dream project, and missing out on it made her really upset. For the unversed, Mahhi recently announced her upcoming TV show, Seher Hone Ko Hai

"What upsets me the most is that I’m not able to go for my shoot. I really want to go. It’s my dream project, and I’ve given it my all. Please keep me in your prayers. Pray that I recover soon and can return to the shoot."

Mahhi Vij expressed her gratitude towards her fans for their love and prayers

In the same video, Mahhi Vij further revealed how she was getting all the messages from her fans and friends. She thanked her fans for praying for her and even shared a message for her friends. She revealed that while she is receiving all the calls, she is not able to answer them as she doesn't have the energy to talk. She was quoted as saying:

"I have had plenty of fruits sent from home. I’m trying my best to recover completely by tomorrow and resume work the day after. Thank you so much for praying for me and loving me so much. I love you all. Thanks to all my friends whose calls and video calls I’m not able to answer. I am resting and don’t have the energy to talk on the phone. Please understand. Thank you very much for everything. I love you all."

Arti Singh visited Mahhi Vij at the hospital

Meanwhile, Mahhi Vij's close friend, Arti Singh, dropped by at the hospital to check on her. Mahhi shared a photo of Arti on her Instagram stories, revealing that she had brought pulao for her. "Pulao made by @artisingh5." Mahhi captioned the post.

On October 27, 2025, reports surfaced that they were allegedly planning to divorce.
