The superstar first stepped into the world of glitz and glamour in 2011 with the film, Bol, and since then, she has not looked back. The 39-year-old has been a part of some of the superhit projects in Lollywood, such as Humsafar, Bin Roye, Hum Kahan Ke Sacchay They, Razia and many more. Moreover, the Pakistani diva also stole the hearts of millions of Indians with her performance in the 2017 Bollywood film, Raees, where she acted opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Along with her professional front, Mahira’s personal life garners media attention every now and then. Recently, a report went viral stating that the actress might be pregnant with her first child with Salim Karim. For those who don’t know, Mahira tied the knot with the businessman in October 2023 in an intimate ceremony in Pakistan. Before Salim, she was married to Ali Askari, and the two embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Azlan. But they parted ways in 2015.

After a netizen shared that Mahira is expecting her first child with her second husband, Salim, now, new reports state otherwise. As per a post shared on the discussion platform, Reddit, the actress has denied the speculations. A screenshot of a conversation between Mahira and one of her followers congratulating her on the news of her pregnancy revealed that she is not expecting a child at present.
On February 11, 2024, one of the Redditors shared that Mahira Khan had dropped out of her first Netflix project, Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo, and another unnamed film due to her pregnancy. The viral post mentioned that the actress is due somewhere between August and September 2024. But now, if the post is to be believed, it confirms that Mahira is not pregnant. However, there is no report confirming or denying if the actress has indeed opted out of the Netflix project or not.

Mahira Khan once graced the FWhy podcast, where she divulged details about her relationship with her ex-husband, Ali Askari, and their son, Azlan’s relationship with the latter’s current family. Despite parting ways in 2015, Ali and Mahira’s bond never soured, and both have respectfully accepted each other’s new families. During the conversation, Mahira said to the host that Azlan loves Ali’s son from his second marriage. She also said that her ex-husband has married one of the loveliest women.
