Back in 2017, Mahira stepped into Bollywood with the movie, Raees alongside Shah Rukh Khan and instantly carved a space in the hearts of the audience. Talking about her personal life, Mahira first got married to Ali Askari, with whom she has a son, Azlan. However, it was after eight years of their marital bliss that the ex-couple decided to end their wedding by opting for divorce.
After parting ways from her first husband, Ali, Mahira Khan found love again in the arms of Salim Karim. And it was only in the last year, when Mahira and Salim tied the knot in a dreamy wedding. There's no denying the fact that the photos and videos of the actress from that surreal ceremony left our hearts fluttering with love and light. And now the same happened again, as we stumbled upon an unseen clip, wherein Mahira revealed a cutesy anecdote about her wedding with Salim.

Recently, we stumbled upon a clip of Mahira Khan's interview with Aamna Haider Isani on her YouTube channel. In the video, the actress talked about her wedding with Salim Karim. The actress proudly mentioned that there was not a dry eye at her wedding and everybody was 'ugly' crying during that joyous ceremony. Mahira stated:
"There was not a dry eye in that wedding. Starting with Salim and Azlan, and amma and appa and myself but forget all of us as a friend of mine, Maha said 'we were ugly crying'."
Mahira stated that she, her husband, her mom, and her dad were crying, but what was exciting to watch was when the waiters at her wedding started to shed tears. The actress further mentioned that she was stunned to watch that even the 'gora DJs' were also wiping their tears at her wedding. Talking about why her wedding ceremony was so emotional, Mahira mentioned that although, it was a small and intimate wedding, it was a magical and real moment of trust and letting go, which made it extra special. Mahira said:
"But sabse jo best tha wo ye tha, what was the best was when, maine waiters to dekha na. I was like (hand gesture) nahi nahi ye nahi ho sakta. The gora DJs would come, wo bhi ro rhe the, wo gore bhi ro rhe the. Maine kaha lo bahi. It was so small and intimate, and it was a real moment of trust and letting go."

Earlier, Mahira Khan made it to the headlines after a Reddit post went massively viral, wherein it was stated that the actress might have expecting her first child with Salim Karim, and for the same she was opted out of her first show on the OTT giant, Netflix. Soon after the same, Mahira issued a statement and cleared the air about the same while stating that neither she was pregnant nor she was left out of her first Netflix project.

Moreover, it was her dramatic veil that added an oomph factor to her wedding look. A soft touch of makeup, a heavy neckpiece, matching earrings, and maang teeka added stars to her look. Salim, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black sherwani paired with a blue turban.
