Malaika Arora Opens Up On Dating Rumours With Mystery Man, Harsh Mehta, 'My Mother Calls Me And...'

However, it is not just her professional life that has grabbed attention, her personal life has also interested a lot of viewers. Well, a few months ago, Malaika Arora sparked dating rumours with a mystery man, who was later identified as Harsh Mehta. Well, now the actress has opened up about the same.

Recently, actress, Malaika Arora appeared on an episode of The Namrata Zakaria Show, during which she opened up about her relationship with her rumoured boyfriend. For those who do not know, Malaika and the mystery man were first spotted at the Enrique Iglesias concert in Mumbai. Later, the two were spotted at the airport, but avoided a joint appearance. This sparked dating rumours between the two. Well, now the Chaiyya Chaiyaa star shared:

"People like talking. If you are spotted with somebody, you go out, and it becomes a huge discussion. I don’t really want to give chatter unnecessarily, too much of fuel. I don’t want to do that because it really doesn’t serve any purpose."

Malaika Arora further called out the linkup rumours and shared that she has noticed a weird pattern by social media users. She explained that even if she steps out with a longtime friend, g*y friend or even her manager, she is linked with them. She also revealed that now she and her mother together laugh about the rumours. Malaika Arora was quoted as saying:

"Trust me, every time I have stepped out, even if it’s a longtime friend, a g*y friend, a married friend, an old friend, a manager or anybody, I am immediately linked to that person. We laughed and joked about it. My mother calls me and asks, ‘Who is this now, baby? Who are they talking about?’ It has just become laughable."

During the same episode of The Namrata Zakaria Show, actress, Malaika Arora also opened up about her equation with her ex-boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor. For the unversed, the two dated for a long time. However, the duo recently parted ways. Talking about her equation with Arjun, the actress shared that he is an ‘important and integral’ part of her life. In her words:

"He is somebody who is so very important to me and someone who is such an integral part of my life. Whatever may be. I don’t really want to talk too much about my past or what my future may be… enough and more has been written about it. Enough and more has been splashed all over, kind of become a bit of a media feeding ground sort of space."
