Malaika Arora Shares Son, Arhaan Loves Dancing With Her On 'Munni Badnaam Hui', 'He Enjoys..'

Salman Khan's film, Dabangg (2010) became a hit film because of Malaika Arora's peppy dance number on the item song, Munni Badnam Hui. The song, to date, is on everyone's playlist and is also Malaika's son, Arhaan's favourite song. Malaika confessed and shared that her son got the seed of dancing genes from her. Malaika, as of now is judging the famous dance reality show, Hip Hop India 2 with ace choreographer, Remo D'Souza.

Hip Hop India 2, a famous dance reality show, is hosted by Manisha Rani and airs on OTT giant, Amazon MX Player. In a recent interview with ETimes TV, Malaika shared that her son has got dancing genes from her and at home, he always challenges her to dance. Malaika, best known for her hit dance numbers, Chaiyya Chaiyya, Munni Badnaam Hui, and Anarkali Disco Chali, shared that Arhaan loves to dance to the dance number, Munni Badnaam Hui. She said:

"I think he enjoys ‘Munni Badnaam Hui,’ Otherwise, he’ll practice some dancing moves and then show me. Then he will say, ‘Come on, Mom, let’s do this together.’"

Malaika Arora reveals being a proud mother due to Arhaan's dancing skills

Malaika adding on to this shared that the biggest critic she has had is her son who always reviews her dance steps. She said that Arhaan always makes fun of the day she dances and urges him to dance in a certain way. Although, Malaika shared that she is a proud mother and has been impressed by Arhaan's dancing skills. She hailed him as superb and also said that her son is fabulous when he dances. In her words:

"Thank God he’s got my dancing genes in him. He dances very well."

Malaika's ex-husband, Arbaax Khan, earlier in an interview with News 18, shared that they had already signed Sajid-Wajid for Dabangg's music. But Lalit Pandit wanted the actor to come listen to the music. Arbaaz went and met and heard Lalit ji's music for almost 2 hours. He was not convinced with the tracks. Even though they were really good, they did not suit the situation in his scene. Lalit then understood Arbaaz's requirement and shared with him the scratched version of Munni Badnaam Hui.

One of the well-known couples in Bollywood is Malaika and Arbaaz. Both of them were head-over-heels in love with one another. Their forever tale only lasted for 19 years, after they got married in 1998, and the former couple separated in May 2017. Malaika then found love in Arjun Kapoor and Arbaaz then was with model, Giorgia Andriani. He parted ways with her and then married, Sshura Khan in December 2023. Malaika now also has her own restaurant business called, Scarlett House in Bandra where she has collaborated with her son. The restaurant has elegant vintage vibes and is located in an old Portuguese bungalow in Pali Hill, Bandra.
