Malaika Arora Makes Fun Of Her Career, 'I've Made A Career Out Of Being Criticised And Trolled...'

Malaika Arora has lived life on her own terms. She is famous for her performance in the superhit song, Chaiya Chaiya in 1998. She is known for her bold and edgy looks. At the age of fifty, she is still considered a style icon, courtesy of her gorgeous look and amazing dressing style. However, she often becomes the target of trolls and gossipmongers, who mock her every move. But Malaika gives it back to them in her classy way.

Malaika Arora revealed she is immune to trolls and her entire career is made out of getting trolled

Recently, in an interview with HT City Showstopper, Malaika, who has her share of trolling for the choices she made, revealed that the noises don't affect her. She stated that she had made a career out of being criticised and trolled for her choices, for the person she is and for what she wears. Malaika was quoted as saying:

"Everybody works very hard and puts in loads of efforts to make their brand, and nobody is looking for a short cut. But, if you see my entire trajectory, I’ve made a career out of being criticised and trolled for my choices, for the person that I am, what I wear, for everything. So, it has been a part of my entire career, and hence, I’m very I’m immune to it."

Malaika further revealed that she chooses to ignore the nasty comments on her social media and doesn't like to give them back. She added that she would react when something is being said about her closed ones, otherwise she doesn't want to waste her time, energy and breath on the trollers. She said:

"I will engage with them (trolls) the day I feel that it needs to be addressed and if I feel somebody is going after someone close to me or my near ones or dear ones, my loved ones. Then of course it requires me to stand up and say something, otherwise, I won’t waste my time, energy, my breath and my sanity. I don’t think it’s worth it. I’ve got other things to do and worry about. I don’t need to justify anything to anyone whether it’s my personal or professional life; I don’t owe anybody an explanation."

On April 4, 2024, Malaika was papped out and about in the city. She looked stunning as she flaunted a loose-fitted T-shirt with a cutesy doodle featuring a woman and her pooch showing off their style. Malaika styled it with fitted trousers. Subtle makeup and hair left open completed her look. Her doodle instantly reminded us of Malaika's walk, which became a rage sometime back.

When Malaika Arora talked about her viral walk 

In 2022, Malaika proudly shared a life to the world with her reality show, Moving In With Malaika, which aired on Disney Hotstar. In one of the promo clips, Malaika introduced herself as a woman everyone loves talking about. The gorgeous diva called out people, who made fun of her walk and trolled her for wearing evening gowns to bikinis. Malaika also took a dig at how her breakup became a national issue. Alongside it, she had written:

"If you thought I was done making news with my moves, you have another thing coming! Age, clothes, love life are all old news, I am bringing something new for all of you to talk about."
