Well, do you know that Malaika was not the first choice for the song? Yes, you heard it right! Recently, in Bigg Boss 18, actress, Shilpa Shirodkar revealed that she was the one to receive the offer to be featured in the song, but Malaika replaced her later.
Recently, a video of Shilpa Shirodkar from Bigg Boss 18 house made rounds on social media, wherein the actress was seen talking with Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang. In the clip, Shilpa revealed that she was first offered to act in the song, Chaiyya Chaiyya, and Farah Kahn even asked her to lose weight for the same.
Shilpa added that seven days after she had given the offer, Farah told her that she was fat for the song and was not a right fit for the song, and they took Malaika for the same. Karan Veer Mehra then jokingly asked if the train in the song would have stopped if she had hopped onto it. Shilpa said that the best answer for this question can be answered only by Farah. Karan further added that whatever happens, it happens for good reasons only, and she has done some wonderful films, while no one could have done better than Malaika in the song.
