Shefali Jariwala's demise has triggered shockwaves throughout the industry. The actress, who was once known as the Kaanata Laga girl, bid farewell to the world on June 27, 2025. The reason for her death isn't fully disclosed yet, but several reports and sources claimed that her anti-ageing treatment could have triggered her untimely demise. While people were left hurt by the way Shefali passed away, the reason was also shocking. Amid this, Mallika Sherawat shared a message, and she has been praised for the same.
Mallika Sherawat is one of the most gorgeous actresses in Bollywood, whose beauty and acting skills have won people over. After Shefali Jariwala's death had left a void in people's hearts, Mallika, on June 29, 2025, took to her IG handle and shared a video, wherein she could be seen in a no-makeup look. The actress, in the selfie video, said that she woke up and thought of making the video. She further clarified that she hasn't put any makeup on, or brushed her hair, or even put any filter in the video. Mallika could be heard saying:
"This is the first thing I am doing. I am sharing this video with you so that we all can say together, "No to botox, No to artificial cosmetic fillers, and yes to life, yes to a healthy way of living. Love you all."
Mallika further asked people to say no to Botox or artificial cosmetic surgeries, rather opting for a healthy lifestyle. In the caption, she also wrote about how she has said no to Botox and artificial procedures to look young; rather, she opted for natural ways of eating clean, sleeping, exercising daily and more. No sooner had Mallika dropped the clip than netizens praised her for her choices and also showered her with love. In Mallika's words:
"Saying NO to Botox & Fillers. Instead of chasing youth with these artificial procedures, I'm nurturing it from within. Eating clean, hydration, sleeping early & exercises are some of the practices I regularly follow. Let's embrace our natural glow."
It was on June 27, 2025, when the entire industry was left shaken with the news of Shefali Jariwala's passing. The gorgeous actress reportedly collapsed in her residence, and after the same, she was rushed to the hospital, but she was declared dead upon her arrival. The news about Shefali was first shared by journalist, Vickey Lalwani. However, later reports mentioned that Shefali passed away due to a cardiac arrest. While this was not confirmed, police said that the reason would remain under a cloud till the autopsy report comes.
Shefali Jariwala's mortal remains were sent to the Cooper Hospital for postmortem, and the autopsy results were revealed to be 'reserved' afterwards. On the other hand, a police source told The Indian Express that Shefali was fasting that day for a puja, and she had taken her regular anti-ageing pills and an injection, which was possibly triggered by her empty stomach, leading her BP to drop. On the other hand, Shefali's doctor also said that she never had any heart-related issues; rather, she was in her anti-ageing treatment for five to six years.
