In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Mandira Bedi had shared that her experience of becoming a mother had given her a new perspective, and had said, "Motherhood is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. For the unversed, Mandira Bedi had embraced motherhood at the age of 39, when she had given birth to her son, Vir. Talking about the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Mandira had said, "I gave birth to my son when I was 39, in 2011, as my contracts didn't allow me to get pregnant. I was scared that if I get pregnant, it will be the end of my career. The entertainment business is brutal. I couldn't have done it without the support of my husband, who has made our marriage a success."
