Further, Suhasini added that Aishwarya cares for people around her. Thus, comparing Aishwarya with 'Florence Nightingale', Suhasini also mentioned how the former used to look after her close ones, if they become ill or need help. For the unversed, Florence Nightingale was the founder of modern nursing and served as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War. In Suhasini's words:
"For example, if you become ill, she'll be the first to come and take care of you. She'll provide advice on what to eat, and she has that caring nature. Aishwarya Rai is like Florence Nightingale.”
We have often heard the ace director, Mani Ratnam talking and praising Aishwarya in various interviews. This proves the bond they have among themselves. For instance, at a promotional event for their film, Ponniyin Selvan II, Mani was once again asked how he managed to take Aishwarya on board for the movie. To this, the filmmaker praised the actress immensely and had said:
"Filmmakers are very, very selfish people, absolutely heartless, and selfish. The only thing they care for is the film. How much ever I love her (Aishwarya), I will ask her only if I think she is right for the role. Every time I have asked her, it is because I have believed that she was absolutely right for the role and she has been nice enough to say yes. So, she is not just a lucky charm for me, it is her talent and her personality that was right to portray this character."
