We celebrate weddings in India in an extravagant manner. Every bride wants to look perfect on her important day. From attire to accessories, everything needs to be top-notch and perfect. Whenever we talk about brides, the first colour that comes to our mind is red. Though pastel shades nowadays give tough competition to it but red always captures our attention in wedding festivities.

Speaking about wedding attire, Manish Malhotra is one of the leading fashion designers in India, who has been creating wonders in the fashion world for the past three decades. Brides wholeheartedly trust his creations when it comes to their wedding attires. Not only brides, we also see actresses and models flaunting their selves in fabulous outfits created by this iconic fashion designer. Recently, we stumbled upon a bride, who looked ravishing in a red lehenga designed by him.

Amrita's timeless traditional lehenga

The bride, Amrita Baht Singh, picked a red lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra for her special day. Like any other bride in Manish Malhotra attire, she looked gorgeous on her wedding day. Her heavy red lehenga featured intricate golden zari and stone jaal work. In addition, it had a large ghera and broad borders with detailed golden gota patti work. The lehenga came with a deep V-neck embroidered blouse with entangled golden work. The blouse was half-sleeved with tiny kaleeras hanging from the sleeves. Amrita teamed the lehenga with an endless light golden tissue dupatta with a sleek red and golden border. She went for a long-tailed red net veil with golden intricate works at the border for her special occasion.

The dulhan's amazing accessories

Amrita Baht Singh complemented her fairy-like look with a heavy diamond neckpiece studded with emeralds. She paired it with heavy earrings, a large maang teeka and a small Nath. In addition, she opted for red chooda with golden kaleeras in it. She also wore emerald studded diamond rings to complete her look. The pretty accessories lifted her look to another level of grace. The emerald-studded set beautifully rounded off her look. Regarding her timeless traditional red lehenga, she said:

"To wear a Manish Malhotra lehenga on my wedding day was a dream come true. All that I had ever dreamt of for my wedding day was to wear a lehenga that reflected a deep connection to my roots, culture and tradition. It had to be a red @manishmalhotraworld lehenga, so classic and timeless. I wouldn't have it any other way!"
