Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant had a grand wedding on July 12, 2024, after a series of pre-wedding festivities. At each event, the Ambani clan wore one after the other spectacular sartorial picks from ace designers. While we often talk about women's fashion choices, this time, Anant Ambani dropped our jaws to the floor as he donned some amazing fits.
Manish Malhotra shared a snap on his IG revealing yet another astonishing look from Anant Ambani's wedding series. In the picture, Anant can be seen beaming with happiness as someone put tilak on his forehead. For the day, Anant was dressed in a blue-hued kurta with bundi work on it, paired with a vibrant Nehru jacket.

The Nehru jacket had intricate detailing on it, with colorful elephant embroidery and abstract art. It even had a mirror and motif work on the piece, and Manish Malhotra revealed that the garment took 1,000 hours to make. The kurta set is an ode to Anant's love for Vantara. Taking about it, he added:
"Anant in our turquoise bundi.. Crafted over 1,000 hours, this Mochi Bharat art bundi showcases the traditonal intricate art of India and chain stitches with motifs that mirror Anant's love for wildlife conservation but also celebrates his work on Vantara."
For attending Griha Shanti puja at Radhika Merchant's home, her then-to-be groom, Anant Ambani, wore a red-hued kurta with matching pants and paired it with a regal jacket. Anant's Nehru jacket and the entire set were made by the ace designer, Manish Malhotra, and it was an ode to age-old artforms. As per the designer, the classic red-hued hand-painted Bundi jacket is adorned with gold vark all over it.

The designer shared a few glimpses of the design of Anant Ambani's jacket on his official IG page. The red bespoke jacket was adorned with artwork inspired by age-old pichwai paintings from the Nathdwara temple in Rajasthan. The paintings depicted themes from Lord Krishna's life, featuring motifs like lotuses, trees, cows, and peacocks. The designers revealed that it was specially created by Bhilwara artisans and took almost 600 hours to finish. Three expert pichwai artists worked on the jacket in 110 hours using 100 gold leaves, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to tradition.
