It is believed that marriage changes a person and their life. There are ample of changes that take place in a person’s lifestyle because now they are responsible for someone else’s happiness too. The newlyweds have to make many amendments into their lives. From bedroom to closet to bathroom, everything is a shared property now and every couple takes time to adjust to the changes. Sasural Simar Ka fame, Manish Raisinghan and his fiancée and Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman fame, Sangeita Chauhaan had embarked on their journey of togetherness on June 30, 2020. The newlywed couple had expressed their feeling of getting married and how they were anxious, in an interview with SpotboyE. While Sangeita had expressed her feelings saying, "It's finally the end of anxiety", Manish had revealed that his legs were shivering. Elaborating on the same and the sindoor moment, Manish had said, "Everything was going smoothly and suddenly they gave me sindoor to fill and my hands started shivering. I suddenly realised the end of my bachelor's life."
The first thing that people ask the newlywed couple is how their life has changed post-marriage, and Manish and Sangeita too have to answer it. In an interview with International Business Times, Manish was asked how his life has changed post-marriage, and he revealed a rather funny moment from the first morning after his marriage. Sharing how he was shocked to see his wife, Sangeita in his bed the morning after their marriage, he said, “It's too early to say, as much as its shocking for others, it's for me and I am yet to come to terms to it (laughs). For instance, after we came from gurudwara and our marriage rituals were completed, we went off to sleep, and it was pretty sound sleep. As soon I opened my eyes, I saw Sangeita right next to me, and I jumped out of bed, and told her 'What are you doing here?' To which she candidly said 'Saale, Haamari Shaadi Hogayae Hai'. It pretty sums up how my married life is going on and the way my wife is treating me. (laughs again).”
Most of the couples in the telly world are making romantic music videos together during these testing times. Manish, who has made a lockdown song, Nikle toh Nikal Logey was asked if he would be interested in doing a romantic number with his wife Sangeita Chauhaan. He replied, “Why not? I would love to do a romantic number with my wife. And we are rightly quipped and all up for a crazy video. But before taking up anything, It has to strike us, as her (my wife) opinion matters.”
Post their marriage, Manish and Sangeita had taken to their respective Instagram handles to share pictures from their wedding. Sangeita had shared two selfies with her parents and brother, standing in her bridal outfit ahead of her vidai. On the other hand, Manish had posted some unseen candid pictures of him and wife, Sangeita from their wedding. Along with the pictures, he had written a note thanking all the members of his family, his friends, and also his fans, who had blessed them with their warm wishes. His note could be read as "Just Married #sanman Thank you, everyone, for ur heartwarming wishes. Your beautiful blessings and all the love you all showered on us. Didn't get an opportunity to respond personally to all your messages but shall slowly and steadily cope up wid that...Thank you once again to one and all... love you all." The doting wife, Sangeita had also shared the same set of pictures on her Instagram handle with a beautiful note that could be read as "Manisshhhh...Thank you for having me in your life.. I'm super Blessed and extremely Lucky to be your Wife..(please swipe to the fourth picture) Thank you for being the one I look up to and always being by my side..
