Mannara Chopra rose to popularity with her stint in the infamous reality TV show, Bigg Boss 17. During the show, her fights with Ankita Lokhande and other contestants, and her on-and-off friendship with Anurag Dobhal and Munawar Faruqui garnered quite some attention. Eventually, Mannara emerged as the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 17. The actress has previously worked in the regional film industry, but at present, she has been getting quite some offers from the Hindi industry as well.
Mannara, who has been in Mumbai for a shoot, took to her Instagram account and shared a video enjoying the city's first rain. The actress was seen wearing a pink camisole with black baggy pants, and she tied her hair into two side pony. In the video, Mannara was seen dancing to the song, Akhiyaan Gulaab on the balcony of a high-rise building. She also climbed on the railing as she enjoyed the rain. Sharing the video post, Mannara captioned it as:

Soon, netizens started penning down their thoughts on Mannara Chopra's reel. While a segment criticised her for being tone-deaf, others came in support of the actress. One user said, "Buildings have collapsed, people are hospitalised and maybe some dead some are still in debris with rescue operations going on aur in brainless ameero ko reels bnani hai." Another one wrote, "Enjoy but take care of ur steps dear." A third netizen penned, "Her moves have a whole different fanbase!!"

For those who aren't aware, Mumbai received this season's first rain after a severe dust storm. The short period of rain and storm wreaked havoc in the city. According to several reports, a massive billboard fell over a petrol pump station in the Ghatkopar area, leaving 14 dead and numerous others hospitalised.
Earlier, Mannara Chopra sat for an interview with Pinkvilla and revealed how her Bigg Boss 17 co-contestants impacted her. She shared that even after the show, some of her housemates talked filthy about her and their vocabularies did not change a bit. Sharing that she has tried to keep her cool, Mannara added:
"I'm trying to keep my cool and be all calm in the interviews, and they're out there talking filth. It kinda got to me."
