Mannara Chopra was the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 17, and she grabbed many headlines for her stint on the show. From being tagged as 'Expression Queen' to getting accused of trying to break Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain's wedding, Mannara raised eyebrows for many reasons. Most of all, it was her bond with Munawar Faruqui that excited the audience. Recently, Mannara demanded a public apology from Munawar after she learnt about his revelations that she made him uncomfortable with her kiss.

Recently, we stumbled upon a video of Mannara Chopra interacting with the media. The diva was dressed in a white-hued, one-shouldered dress with cut-out detailing near the waist area. Open tresses, subtle makeup and nude lips completed her look. During the conversation, when Mannara was asked about demanding a public apology from Munawar, she denied that she ever said that and claimed that she never saw any video where she kissed him. In her words:

"Public apology to nahi par ye jo bhi narrative unhone kaha hai... Wo video to haalanki maine nahi dekhi, but unhone bole hai aisa kisi ko. But aisi koi video bahar aayi nahi where I am trying to you know..."

Mannara Chopra accuses Munawar of making a narrative about her

Not just this, Mannara also accused Munawar of making a narrative about her, as nothing like that has ever happened. However, she added that she did not ask for a public apology from him, but she felt awkward when the journalist had told her about Munawar's claims. Mannara was heard saying:

"But jahaan tak public apology ki baat hai, maine filhaal to koi apology nahi maangi kyunki jab mujhse journalist ne pehli baar pucha to maine bola, 'Mujhe bahut awkward lag raha hai aap mujhse aise puch rahe ho'."

Mannara Chopra was not invited to Munawar Faruqui's party

On January 31, 2024, Mannara  Chopra was spotted by the paparazzi as she stepped out in the city. In a video that surfaced on social media, a paparazzo was heard telling Mannara about Munawar's party and asked her if she would be attending it. However, she stated that neither she was aware of the party nor she was invited. Mannara's statement came as a shock to everyone and ignited rumours of the possible rift between her and Munawar.

Mannara Chopra reacted to Munawar Faruqui's claim that she kissed him

After her exit from Bigg Boss 17, in an interview with The Times Of India, Mannara Chopra opened up about her bond with Munawar Faruqui and called him family and a true friend. However, Mannara was shocked to learn that Munawar revealed that he had felt uncomfortable when she kissed him. Mannara also expressed her discomfort and demanded a public apology from Munawar for his weird comment about her. She was quoted as saying:

"Oh my god! It's a weird statement. There's no footage like this. I don't know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologise to me publically."
