Mannara Chopra is undoubtedly soaring high in the success of her Bigg Boss 17 stint. The diva stood third in the race, or rather a winner in the female category, as she likes to refer to it. For the unversed, BB17 was won by Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra, respectively, captured the second and third positions. Now that the show is over and the contestants are adjusting to real life, Mannara Chopra is among the first ones to resume work soon after BB17.
Mannara Chopra was spotted at the airport on January 2, 2024, as she and her mother were all set to fly off to an undisclosed location. Later, the actress took to her Instagram account and shared that she is catching her first flight of 2024 and also the first after Bigg Boss 17 for her work. She added that this is her first project after her popular BB stint, and she needs everyone's blessings for the same.

Mannara was dressed in an all-black ensemble, which featured a black top and trousers paired with matching stiletto. She layered her outfit with a being-hued trench coat and a yellow-brown tote bag. Mannara left her silky tresses loose in waves and completed her look with a no-makeup look. The actress added:
"This is to my first flight of 2024, and that too a work trip after Bigg Boss. So, I am very very happy, please bless me on my new journey.

Mannara Chopra debuted in the entertainment industry in 2014 with the film, Prema Geema Jantha Na. During that time, her name was Barbie Handa, which she later changed to Mannara Chopra. In an interview, Mannara revealed that during the unofficial screening of her film, her cousin sister suggested her to change her name as the name, 'Barbie' doesn't fit well with the interiors of the country. Mannara further added:
"The name, Barbie, doesn't gel well with probbly the interiors of our country. People will not connect to the name."

Taking her suggestion, Mannara made a list of possible names for her. Her sister's name is Mitali, which is why she wanted her second name to begin with 'M' as well. Then she selected Mannara as she liked the name, and it even rhymed with Mitali. She added that the meaning of her name is 'shining'.
