Mannara Chopra has been making headlines for her stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss 17. After Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, and Mannara Chopra is taking forward the name of the Chopra family, and netizens are sure that she will have a bright future outside of the BB 17 house. Another highlight of Mannara's journey was her friendship with BB 17 winner, Munawar Faruqui. While she stood up for him in the show whenever it was needed, Munawar's comment about 'feeling uncomfortable after she kissed him' during an episode, left Mannara super shocked.
During an interview with The Times Of India, Mannara expressed her bond with Munawar Faruqui and called him 'family'. While people thought Mannara was falling for Munawar, the actress stated that for her, he is like a true friend, and he helped her throughout her stay inside the show. However, Mannara was left shocked after getting to know that Munawar commented that he felt uncomfortable with her after she kissed him during an episode.

Expressing her discomfort, Mannara demanded a public apology if Munawar had passed such a weird comment to her. She also added that she didn't know in what context he had said it. Mannara was quoted as saying:
"Oh my god! It's a weird statement. There's no footage like this. I don't know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologise to me publically."
A Reddit user shared the screenshot of Mannara's interview on the discussion platform and netizens expressed their opinion. One user wrote, "Haha Mannara pura time bitching karte gaya and safai dete gaya, Munawar ne aise time pe apna mu khola ki abhi game hi khatam ho gaya and kisiko kich safai dena nahi padhega. Baad me jaye apology." Another one commented, "Why’s it so hard for her to believe that she kissed him?! The world witnessed her insane obsession for Munawar. It’s better to thank him for not making this uncomfortable purely out of respect. The diwali incident he shared, I noticed that too but dismissed until Munawar addressed the issue to Ankita. That’s Bebika 2.0 she’s going to crib for months n eventually accept her fate."
However, some netizens even found a proof of Mannara kissing Munawar in the garden area, and wrote, "Diwali kiss ka clip nahi hain, but she has kissed him once while they were alone in the garden area."
For those who don't know, Mannara and her director's kissing video went viral on August 30, 2023. However, the actress remained tight-lipped about the incident for days. But on September 5, 2023, Mannara issued a clarification. The actress defended the director and revealed that he had no bad intentions towards her. She added that at times people don't understand what they are doing when they are excited.
