Getting your heart broken is an inevitable part of loving someone deeply. But what hurts the most, makes you question everything is when you are being cheated by the one person you gave your everything to. No amount of apologies can reverse or lessen the pain. And television actress, Mansi Srivastava felt the same pain when her ex-fiance, Mohit Abrol broke her trust. For those who don't know, Ishqbaaz fame, Mansi got engaged to Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi actor, Mohit on August 21, 2016, in a private ceremony. And while we thought they are the 'it' couple, a few months ago, they ended their eight-year-long relationship. The ex-couple had tried keeping their breakup dignified. But a few days ago, Mohit had shared an open letter on Instagram for his ex, Mansi and accused her of infidelity. Later, he deleted the post and claimed his account was hacked.
Recently, in an interview with India Forums, Mansi talked about the whole incident, and stated, "It's sad that these days people's characters are judged upon social media ranting. Firstly, I am a self-made girl, it's easy to tarnish someone's image by writing all good things about yourself and bad things about the person you said you loved immensely. I have always maintained a dignified silence on this topic and will do so in the future too." She further stated, "If moving on after break up is cheating in anyone's dictionary then I'm illiterate. Just because somebody says 'No' doesn't mean you go out to destroy the one you said is your soulmate. A girl or a boy just don't decide to end their relationship without any reason. I would advise everyone to find their significant other wisely, who respects you and your family and is loyal."
Mansi also claimed of having proofs of Mohit's disloyalty, and said, "Reality is actually way different from how it's being portrayed. I don't want to comment further about his disloyalties, temper issues and chatting and flirting with a lot of stranger girls on Facebook of which I have proof (screenshots), and if I start doing what he did, he will be hiding his face and would never want to be active on social media again and post such horrible things about anyone."

The actress clearly stated that she doesn't care how Mohit wants to paint her image, and shared, "With Mohit's interview he can paint me with whatever color he wants, black or grey, It's okay, if he chooses to pose as the victim and get sympathy. I prefer to live with dignity and self-respect. I broke up with dignity a few months back but am hurt that I have to give a statement like this and have to defend myself for things I haven't done."
After their breakup, Mansi had clarified the news with The Times of India. She had stated, "Yes, we have broken up. Sometimes things aren't meant to be and we accepted that we were not meant for each other. We have had no hard feelings for each other. Mohit and I haven't spoken anything wrong about each other and wouldn't want to ever. Also, I don't like talking about my personal life in public and like to keep that privacy to my own-self."
Talking about the reason that made them end the relationship, Mansi had opened up about the same in an interview with The Bombay Times. She had revealed, "There were compatibility issues and lack of understanding. Also, we wanted different things from life. Mohit and I gave our relationship many chances, but it just didn’t work out. I realised that it makes no sense to drag the relationship on and hence, I decided to end it in January this year. Looking back, I feel that we could have worked it out if we had tried to handle things maturely and with a bit more understanding. But it’s all in the past now.” (Don't Miss: Sushmita Sen Believes Her Decision To Adopt Her Daughters Renee And Alisah Was Not An Act Of Charity)
