Manu Bhaker made the nation proud after she won two medals at the Paris Olympics. For the unversed, Manu won bronze medals in the women's 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event alongside Sarabjot Singh. Recently, Manu Bhaker, along with India's four top athletes, arrived at Rashtrapati Bhawan to receive the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award from President, Draupadi Murmu. Moreover, Manu faced a little oops moment before she went on the stage to take her prestigious award.
Recently, a video from Rashtrapati Bhawan made rounds on social media, wherein Manu Bhaker was seen standing while her achievements and contributions were being read out. In the video, Manu looked pretty in a red saree and a black-toned coat. Well, during the announcement, there was a little gap. Manu thought that the announcement was already done, and she moved forward to take the award from the President. Well, the announcement further began, and she instantly realised and then stopped. Well, this minor gaffe went unnoticed with Manu's grace and elegance.

Two-time Olympic medalist shooter, Manu Bhaker reacted to her win of the prestigious award from the President. Talking to ANI, the shooter shared that it's an honour to bag the Khel Ratna Award as it's one of the biggest honours in the country. She further stated that this win will lead her to work harder and inspire her in the journey to come. Manu also revealed that she has been busy with training for the last two and a half months regularly as the upcoming competitions are going to take place soon. Manu Bhaker can be quoted as saying:
"It is an honour to receive the Khel Ratna. It is one of the biggest honours in the country. This will inspire me to work harder in the future and win more medals for the country. On her return to competitions. I have been training for the last two and a half months regularly. Competitions are coming end of this month and next month."
During the Paris Olympics 2024, a clip of javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker's mom went viral, wherein they were seen exchanging verbal pleasantries. As soon as the video went online, netizens started shipping Manu and Neeraj, which was followed by speculations about their wedding. Soon, the duo's families reacted to the buzz and dismissed the same. Manu's father mentioned that his wife considers Neeraj as a son only.

In an interview with News18, Manu Bhaker was asked about the same. She shared that she had no idea about what conversation happened between her mom and Neeraj Chopra. She further added that she has been meeting Neeraj since 2018 at several events, but they don't talk too much, even though they often bump into one another. She also remarked that there's no iota of truth in the speculations that were going on.
