It got so bad that when Mark read a comment by a troll, the podcast's host, Alex Cooper, herself condemned that people were throwing that much hate at someone over a show. However, that soon led her to the question that every fan has been dying to get an answer for: Will Mark Ballas return to Dancing with the Stars Season 35?

Alex Cooper asked Mark Ballas about his plans to return to Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars. She revealed that fans have been wondering whether Mark would return after what he and Whitney Leavitt went through this season. She also quoted fans calling out trolls, saying, "You guys ruined it. We're never going to get 'em back." However, Mark didn't give a clear answer, but left the door open for his return. The pro dancer was quoted as saying:

"I love the show. I love creating on the show. Even after the season with Charlie, they had become guests as a judge one day, and then I got to dance with Derek."

In the same conversation, Mark Ballas revealed that they had just finished a season and that he would like to take a breather before deciding anything. He shared that he was not completely opposed to returning to Dancing with the Stars. However, there was a lot to consider, especially regarding one's physical health. He was quoted as saying:

"The season before, I was like still working through that injury stuff because there's a difference between doing like a spotlight performance and then doing a full season. Like, you have to be right for that because injuries will creep up on you, but I wouldn't say that I'm like you know (completely against it). Of course, this one's just finished, so we need a little sleep. Give me a breather. I have learned not to say it right then, but I'll have a chat with Rob."
