Wedding season is at its peak and ladies are hunting the market to get the perfect designer outfits for themselves. And, who says that only brides have the right to look beautiful and grab eyeballs at their wedding? These days women are leaving no stones unturned to look their best at weddings. From Sabyasachi to Tarun Tahiliani and Manish Malhotra to Abhinav Mishra, all the designers have set their right foot forward to ace the fashion game.
Well, not just in India, but even Pakistan is witnessing some of the biggest weddings of the year, and the pictures are trending all over Pakistani social media. One among those weddings was Maryam Nawaz Sharif's son, Junaid Safdar's Valima. The star-studded event was attended by who's who of Pakistan's bureaucracy and prominent names from the country's political parties.

A few moments back, we stumbled upon some beautiful pictures from Junaid Safdar's wedding festivities doing rounds on the internet. In the pictures, we can see the groom, Junaid Safdar, and the bride, Ayesha Saif Khan, posing for some happy pictures. However, what grabbed our eyeballs was the groom's mother, Maryam Nawaz, who looked drop-dead gorgeous in a traditional ensemble.

Maryam Nawaz opted for designer clothes for each and every wedding function. For her son’s mehendi ceremony, Maryam opted for a powder-blue lehenga designed by the Indian designer, Abhinav Mishra. The silk lehenga featured mirror work and gotta-patti work all over it. Maryam Nawaz was a sight to behold in her beautiful ensemble and grabbed eyeballs. She completed her look with diamond jewellery and tied her hair in a braid adorned with beads.

Maryam Nawaz looked gorgeous in Abhinav Mishra’s powder-blue lehenga. However, upon checking the designer's official website, we were stumped to know that the price of the lehenga was Rs. 1,68,000, which when converted to Pakistani currency is more than Rs. 4 lakhs. Check it out below:
As soon as the pictures from the ceremony went viral, Maryam became the talk of the town. While some netizens heaped praises on the gorgeousness for acing her look at her son's mehendi ceremony, another section of netizens slammed her for stealing the thunder of the bride.
