Mass Jathara OTT Release, When And Where To Watch Ravi Teja And Sreeleela's Action Drama

Ravi Teja and Sreeleela's latest film, Mass Jathara, is the most-loved and awaited film of Telugu cinema. After a short hiatus, Ravi Teja is back with his entertaining perfromance in Mass Jathara directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu. The action drama, which was stated to be released on October 31, 2025, but to avoid the film clashing with Baahubali: The Epic, the makers chose to postpone the film by a day. 

Mass Jathara's OTT release

The film is the directorial debut of Bhanu Bhogavarapu, and it is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios, under the banner of producers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. The movie also stars Naveen Chandra as a strong antagonist, and actors such as Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Praveen, Himaja, VTV Ganesh, Hyper Aadi and Ajay Ghosh.

According to reports, the digital rights of Mass Jathara have been acquired by OTT giant Netflix for a huge price. However, the exact value of the deal has not been made public yet. As per sources, the makers of the film have signed an agreement with the OTT giant that the film will premiere on Netflix four weeks after its theatrical release. Hence, the film will stream in the last week of November 2025.

It is worth noting that the OTT release date might depend on the film's box office performance. If the film's theatrical run is extended or shortened, the digital premiere date will be adjusted accordingly. Also, Netflix will soon announce the official release date.

Mass Jathara's storyline

In the film, Ravi Teja plays the role of an RPF inspector, 'Lakshman Bheri', who uncovers the dark world. In order to do so, he also has to navigate through deep family bonds. It is set up in a small town in Andhra Pradesh. 'Lakshman Bheri' is a fearless police officer stationed in the region.

In the film, the town prepares for its annual Mass Jathara, when corrupt people and the dark underworld try to taint the celebration, 'Lakshman' steps in as protector of the innocent. On the other hand, Sreeleela plays the role of 'Ammu', a local teacher who brings all the missing colours of love in 'Lakshman's' life. Their chemistry and romance make the film more interesting, and it gives lightness to a dark and intense story.

Naveen Chandra plays a ruthless industrialist in the film, and plans to exploit the land during the sacred festival. After which, a storm of action, emotion and vengeance is seen on the screen. According to trade reports, the total budget of the film, including actors and technicians' remuneration, production expenses and promotional activities, is estimated to be around Rs. 90 crore. The film has generated a lot of buzz and excitement following the release of the teaser and trailer. 

Performance of Ravi Teja and Sreeleela

Ravi Teja didn't let his fans disappointed as his performance and action are the backbone of the success of Mass Jathara. He owned every frame with his on-point dialogue delivery, fierce expressions and ability to romance and acting sequence. He proved he is called Mass Maharaja for a reason by his fans. 

Sreeleela also shines with her limited screen time. It is also worth mentioning that her character isn't just eye candy. She plays the emotional anchor of 'Lakshman'. Also, her dance number, Jathara Jathara, is super amazing. Naveen Chandra's role as antagonist is perfect as he acts in control without overacting in his sharp scenes.
