Mawra Hocane Makes Stunning Bridal Entry Under 'Phoolon Ka Chaddar' In A Red Lehenga

Pakistani actress, Mawra Hocane is best known for her Bollywood debut opposite Harshvardhan Rane in Sanam Teri Kasam. On February 5, 2025, the actress married the love of her life, Ameer Gilani in an intimate nikah ceremony. Fans had speculated about their romantic chemistry after seeing them in Pakistani serials, Sabaat and Neelam. The pair kept their relationship under wraps. Now, a video of the actress doing rounds showed her making a stunning bridal entry that looked like at Lahore Fort.

Mawra gave the biggest surprise to her sea of fans by revealing that she got married to Ameer Gilani. The wedding took place at Lahore Fort, and ahead of their intimate nikah ceremony, Mawra was seen making a stunning bridal entry. She wore a red lehenga that had an intricate design and teamed her look with a necklace, passa and maang teeka. Mawra was seen lip-syncing and dancing on 'Dheeme Dheeme' and exuded elegance as she walked towards her shauhar, Ameer.

Mawra had donned a beautiful sky blue hed lehenga that she teamed with a shirt-like blouse of the same colour. Her lehenga had detailed embroidery in gold and pink. Ameer, on the other side, wore a dark green-hued kurta pyjama and teamed it with a shawl and waistcoat of a similar colour. He had worn Peshawari chappals for his wedding day. Mawra wrote a simple and beautiful caption while sharing the pictures that read:

"And in the middle of chaos… I found you BISMILLAH 5.2.25."

The pictures shared by the couple are all things romantic. They are seen hugging each other, lost in love, holding each other's arms. Mawra was also seen resting her head on Ameer's shoulder, and all the snaps scream of love.

Mawra and Ameer first caught the attention of their fans when they saw their unmatched chemistry in Sabaat. They started speculating that the duo were dating. For years, Mawra and Hocane have been seen together at social gatherings and also used to share friendly posts related to one another. Their fans started speculating that the duo were in a relationship. Both the actors never gave any confirmation about the same.

For the unversed, Mawra's work in Khichari Salsa back in 2011 was well appreciated. Her chemistry with Bollywood actor, Harshvardhan Rane in Sanam Teri Kasam was well appreciated. Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru directed the romantic tragedy drama film. However, it tanked at the box office but had then gained fame on OTT platforms. Mawra's Pakistani film debut was with Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, a comedy-drama movie.

Who is Mawra Hocane's husband, Ameer Gilani?

Ameer comes from a highly educated family with a rich legacy. His paternal grandfather was Syed Iftikhar Hussain Gilani, a top lawyer who was Pakistan's law minister during the Benazir Bhutto government back in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Ameer also studied law from the prestigious, Harvard Law School and graduated in 2022. He has a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from a world-class law school.
