'Sanam Teri Kasam' Fame Mawra Hocane Gets Married To Ameer Gilani, Slips Into Unique Lehenga-Choli

Pakistani actress, Mawra Hocane announced her wedding with a dreamy note in the month of love — February. The actress tied the knot with her dream man and longtime friend, Ameer Gilani. While social media was abuzz about her marriage speculation for quite a few weeks, Mawra confirmed everyone's speculations with her wedding post.

Mawra Hocane gets married to Ameer Gilani

On February 5, 2025, Mawra surprised her fans by sharing romance photos from her nikah ceremony with Ameer Gilani. She confirmed the buzz in the sweetest way. In the photos, Mawra looked gorgeous in a pastel mint blue-toned lehenga with purple and red tones on the kali. She styled her lehenga with a unique choli design and a dupatta, which was tucked over her head and accentuated her bridal look further. 

Mawra's husband, Ameer looked handsome in an olive green-hued kurta with pathani salwar and a doshala. Talking about Mawra's choice of accessories, she picked a dainty neckpiece, matching earrings, a passa and a maang teeka completed her look. In the first photo, we can see Mawra and Ameer lost in each other's embrace, and the bride's mehendi was the highlight of the same.

Sharing more photos of her wedding with Ameer, Mawra penned a sweet note of how in the middle of chaos, she found her dream man. She expressed gratitude to God. Her caption can be read as:

"And in the middle of chaos… I found you. BISMILLAH 5.2.25." .

The moment Marwa shared her wedding news, the internet flooded her comments section. Mahira Khan penned, "MashAllah mashAllah mashallah! Loveee you." Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife, Sakshi Singh, also seems to be her fan as she wrote, "Congratulations."

Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani first shared screens in Pakistani drama, Sabaat and Neem. Their chemistry left their fan in awe. Soon, their social media posts with each other and public appearances together started their dating rumours. However, they never confirmed or denied the buzz. But fans continue to root for the couple in the hope of seeing them together one day.

Mawra's acting career in Bollywood

Mawra's fame is not just limited to Pakistan. She is also left her Indian audiences enthralled with her calibre in Bollywood film, Sanam Teri Kasam. The film marked her debut in the Hindi cinema alongside Harshvardhan Rane. The romantic film was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. However, the film failed at the box office, but it gained popularity on OTT platforms, and it will soon be re-released in theatres.
