Medical Malpractice Could Be Hulk Hogan's Death Reason? Brooke Doubts, Investigation Underway

Iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71 on July 24, 2025. It was reported that the WWE icon was battling a health issue and also underwent surgery. Following this, reports claimed that he died of a cardiac arrest, and there was also a mention of cancer in the reports, which reportedly shocked the family members. Now, his death mystery has been deepening, and investigations have been underway to confirm the exact reason that took Hulk's life. Hulk's daughter, Brooke, called his father's death 'weird', and recent hints claim that medical malpractice can be behind the death of the legend.

Medical malpractice can be behind Hulk Hogan's passing at the age of 71?

Recently, a report claimed that a therapist, who was with Hulk Hogan during his final moments, told the Clearwater police that the WWE icon's phrenic nerve was cut during his surgery. The phrenic nerve is extremely crucial as it controls the diaphragm, the muscle that controls breathing.

Reportedly, the therapist told the police that the nerve was cut by a surgeon during Hulk Hogan's surgery, and thus, he didn't clutch his chest while having the cardiac arrest; rather, he collapsed and simply stopped breathing. It was Sky Daily that first noticed that something was wrong with the way Hulk Hogan passed away. TMZ reported that Law Enforcement revealed that the official police report was filed just after 911 was called from Hogan's home.

The Clearwater Police Department is currently investigating the case and has been in touch with the family members, Nick and Brooke (Hulk's children). The 911 tapes or bodycam footage have not been made public yet, as the case remains active. The investigation officer revealed that everything will take time, and they have decided to brief the family about the case to this point and then close the case before making the results of the investigation public. The investigators said:

"We plan to meet with the family and brief them on the case to this point, and we will share the results of the investigation with the family prior to closing the case and releasing it to the public and media."

Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke has been voicing her questions about her father's death

The reports about Hulk Hogan's death mystery started grabbing the headlines, days after, his daughter Brooke expressed her doubts about her father's death. She had stated during a podcast that the reason for her father's death, which was shown as leukaemia, shocked her as it doesn't run in their family. Brooke further mentioned that the reason for her father's death, she feels, be 'weird' and 'BS'. She also stated that the bodycam and 911 footage can change the story about how her father actually passed away.

Talking more about the same, Brooke mentioned that police officers and nurses have reached out to her and urged her to conduct a deeper investigation into what had been witnessed. An independent autopsy was speculated to have taken place, and Brooke also shared that it had been done. Brooke also revealed that while her father was buried on August 5, 2025, he hasn't been cremated yet.
