“Rishi ji was amazing. He has worked with people of so many generations and made them feel at home, which he did with me. Sometimes we also shared people who were working for both of us and helping both of us. He lived so close by in Pali Hill that I could just walk from my house and spend some time with him and Neetu ji. I think he was the only actor with whom I could do that. I met him off set and informally.”

“It’s unfortunate that I haven’t been in touch with Rishi ji’s son, Ranbir, and we don’t know each other very well. I hope to rectify that and meet him, especially now since he’s married and has a kid. ishi ji was given the tag of a chocolate boy, and Amitabh ji (Bachchan) was called the angry young man. Both of them were getting stuck doing similar kinds of roles. Then they both decided to take a break and come back to doing better roles. I saw the same intensity in Ranbir’s eyes in Animal that I had seen in Rishi Ji’s eyes in Agneepath.”
