Radhika Merchant’s sister was born and raised in Mumbai in 1989. Elder daughter of Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, Anjali, did her schooling at The Cathedral and John Connon School. She later joined Ecole Mondiale World School. After completing her schooling, Anjali pursued her graduation at Babson College with a BSc degree in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management.
After her graduation, Anjali Merchant pursued her MBA from the London School of Business. In 2010, she had a unique study experience of Semester at Sea at the University of Virginia. The particular course takes place on a 1000-passenger ship and sails to more than 10 countries on each voyage. For her Semester at Sea, Anjali traveled to 12 countries and did projects in Canada, Spain, Morocco, Ghana, China, Japan, and many others.

After completing her education, Anjali began her career as an advertising intern at Publicis in 2006. In 2009, she interned with Merck. In 2012, she joined her father’s business, Encore Healthcare, as a marketing manager. In 2017, she did an internship at Bayer.
In 2021, Anjali took the position of director at Mylon Metals and Encore Healthcare. Apart from directorial positions in Meylon Metals and Encore Healthcare, Anjali co-founded an online marketplace, ‘Turn The Campus.’

In 2018, Anjali co-founded Dryfix, a chain of hair styling and treatment clubs focused on providing specialised hair services. Dryfix has served many B-town celebs, including Tabu, Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia Bhatt, and others.
Radhika Merchant's elder sister, Anjali Merchant is married to Aman Majithia, who is an entrepreneur by profession. Anjali and Aman got married back in 2020 in a lavish wedding in Goa. Anjali Merchant's husband, Aman Majithia, is the founder of the famous retail brand, Vataly.
Aman Majithia founded Vataly in 2017, and the company has factories in Salem, Tiruppur, and Bengaluru. Apart from being the founder of Vataly, Aman Majithia is also the Associate Director (AD) of his father-in-law, Viren Merchant's company, Encore Healthcare Private Limited, worth Rs. 2000 crores.
