Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party leader, Arvind Kejriwal is the happiest father as his daughter, Harshita Kejriwal, got married to her soulmate, Sambhav Jain, on April 18, 2025. The grand wedding took place at Delhi’s Kapurthala House and was attended by many dignitaries from political and business worlds.

Harshita and Sambhav had an intimate engagement at Shangri-La Eros Hotel in Delhi, in the presence of their closed ones. Just like Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter, Harshita, his son-in-law, Sambhav, is also a graduate from IIT and currently works as a Project Management Consultant at a private firm named Genie. From deadlines to risk assessments, Sambhav’s work requires a high level of precision.

Sambhav Jain is the co-founder of a wellness startup

Apart from being an IITian and consultant, Sambhav has also co-founded Basil Health, a wellness-tech startup with Harshita Kejriwal. The startup not just focuses on healthy food but also guarantees the freshness of farm-picked greens. Basil Health, founded in 2020, operates as a chain of restaurants and has served over a million customers across 15 outlets. While Harshita is the brain behind Basil Health, Sambhav manages the operations and tech of the startup. The couple founded Basil Health with a mission to promote health eating.

Harshita and Sambhav met at IIT Delhi. Harshita holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, and it was during her college years that she met Sambhav. It was on the corridors of IIT that Harshita and Sambha fell in love.

On the other hand, Harshita Kejriwal, after graduating in 2018, is working at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Gurugram. She has also been actively involved in her father’s political journey by participating in various election campaigns for AAP.

The couple culminated their years of friendship and love into marriage and began their forever journey on April 18, 2025 with the blessings of their parents. For her special day, Harshita looked stunning in a red lehenga adorned with golden work throughout. She completed her lehenga with a long-tailed veil and traditional jewellery. On the other hand, Samvbhav looked dapper in an off-white-hued sherwani, turban, and he completed his look with black sunglasses.

Harshita and Sambhav’s union is a significant milestone for the two families, and it also symbolises a new possible beginning for AAP. There are speculations that just like his father-in-law, Sambhav too will make his part in politics.

Harshita and Sambhav’s journey from friends to soulmates to business partners is a testament to modern-day love.
