David Warner is an Australian former international cricketer and is widely known as the opening batsman. Alongside Sunil Gavaskar and Ricky Ponting, David also held the record of scoring centuries in both innings of a Test match thrice. Currently, he is hogging the limelight for scoring a century in the Big Bash League match between Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes. It is noteworthy to mention that this is his first century for Sydney Thunder in 14 years.
Coming to his personal life, David Warner is happily married to Candice Warner. The couple has been married for a decade now. She became a pillar of strength to her husband, David, and stood by him when he got involved in Sandpapergate, a 2018 cricket cheating scandal. Candice Warner was born on March 13, 1985, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. At the age of 14, she professionally competed in the Ironman series. Candice became the NSW state Ironwoman champion when she was 16 years old. She began her journey as a beach sprinter, although she was initially highly scared of water. In 2008, she made her TV debut with the series, It Takes Two.

She had a glorious career in Ironwoman and surf lifesaving competitions. She won numerous accolades, including three world championships, which include 20 medals at the Australian championships and 60 medals at state-level championships, 36 of them are gold. She also received major international and national titles, including Queen of Nelson Mandela Bay in South Africa, the Round 5 Ironwoman Series race in 2012, and the New South Wales Ironwoman Championship in 2013.

Before meeting in person, David Warner and Candice Warner connected via Twitter (Now X). The Aussie player was in England for the Ashes series, and his ladylove messaged soon after he went through a difficult phase. Once in an interview with New Idea, David recalled how Candice texted him and offered him support and wrote, "Just letting you know I am thinking of you and I know how hard it can be being away from home." Later, the couple met in person through their mutual friends at the City2Surf Race in Sydney. Sharing a glimpse of their first in-person meeting and their relationship, Candice once called it an easy one. Sharing the details on the show, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Candice said:

"He was having drinks with friends, I was out with my friends, and we just got talking… Our relationship moved really quickly. It was just one of those things that felt so right. It was an easy relationship. We were able to be ourselves. He’s the kindest, most generous person."
In March 2014, David proposed to Candice in Cape Town, South Africa. In September 2014, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ivy Mae. Later, in April 2015, the duo tied the knot at the Terrara House Estate on the NSW South Coast. After their big day, the Aussie player opened up about his feelings during their nuptials. He described Candice as "the most beautiful bride in the world." Speaking to Woman’s Day, David said:
"How could I not have a tear in my eye when I saw Candice walk around the corner? I was struck again by just how lucky I was to find The One – the woman I will spend the rest of my life with."

Candice and David are parents to three daughters, Ivy Mae, Indi Rae and Isla Rose. However, the 2018 cricket cheating scandal, popularly known as Sandpapergate, made a bad impact on both David’s professional and personal life. In an interview with Australian Women's Weekly in 2018, Candice explained how she, along with her husband, came under public scrutiny after the scandal. Candice shared that during that tough phase, she had a miscarriage that made them heartbroken. She opened up about her emotional breakdowns during that phase.
After the Sandpapergate, David took to his Instagram handle and penned an emotional note thanking his wife. He lauded her for the immense courage that she had during the difficult phase. The note shared by him can be read as:
"My wife, my rock, has endured pain, disappointment, regrets in her past and so many highs and lows, but the courage Candice has shown in recent months is a testament to the qualities she has as a mother, person, friend and wife. I'm grateful every day I get to call her my wife and my soul mate. I wouldn't want it any other way."
