Ananya Raje Scindia is the daughter of Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia and Princess Priyadarshini Raje Scindia of Baroda. Her father, Jyotiraditya serves as the Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel in the cabinet of Narendra Modi's ministry. He has been representing the state of Madhya Pradesh since 2020 as a Rajya Sabha member.
Talking about Ananya Raje Scindia’s mother, Priyadarshini Raje Scindia, is the Maharani of Baroda state. Maharani Priyadarshini was featured in Verve’s ‘Best Dressed – 2008’ Hall of Fame list. She was also included in the ‘India’s 50 Most Beautiful Women’ list by Femina. Ananya has an elder brother, Mahanaryaman Scindia, who chose a path different from the royal lineage and entered into the startup world with his agricultural venture, MyMandi.
As per multiple reports, Ananya Raje Scindia did her schooling in Delhi at The British School and later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating, Ananya began her professional journey as she did an internship with the social media platform, Snapchat. She is currently working as a design intern at Apple.

At the mere age of 16, Ananya Raje Scindia made her Le Ball debut in 2018. The ball, which is held in Paris, hosts 20 stunning women across the globe each year. The le Bal des Débutantes is one of the most prestigious galas held during the Thanksgiving weekend every year.
The annual Gala marks the debut of some of the most stunning and prominent women from the Chinese industry, Hollywood, Indian Royal families and many others and make their presence felt on the global platform.

For her debut at the Le Ball, Ananya donned an Indo-French label, Lecoanet-Hemant. The dress was inspired by butterfly wings and took a whole year to complete. In an interaction with the Paper Magazine, Ananya shared details about her debut Le Ball ensemble and said:
“It was inspired by the microscopic images of butterfly wings. I participated in the design process from the beginning, and it took a full year to create.”
At the ball, the gorgeous ladies dance with some of the most handsome men. And for Ananya, it was her brother, Prince Yuvaraj Mahanaryaman, who turned into her dance partner. In the same interaction with the Paper Magazine, she talked about her experience of dancing with her brother and stated:
“We had never danced the waltz together before, but it was enjoyable, and we kept each other amused with our goofy jokes.”
The Scindia family was the Hindu Maratha ruling family of Gwalior. Founded by Rano ji Scindia, an influential Maratha Sardar, the Scindias played a major role in politics in the 18th century. The family ruled Gwalior until India’s Independence from the United Kingdom in 1947. Initially its capital was Ujjain, but later shifted to Gwalior. The opulent Jai Vilas Mahal is the residence of the Scindia family. The 19th-century palace in Gwalior was built by Jayajirao Scindia. Spread over 12,000 square feet is located in Gwalior, the palace is three-storied. Made in an Italian structure, Jai Vila also combines Tuscan and Corinthian architecture. The palace consists of 400 rooms, out of which 35 rooms are converted into a museum, displaying various collections from the Maratha Scindia dynasty. As per multiple reports, Ananya Raje Scindia’s paternal villa is worth Rs. 4,000 crores and is adorned with 560 kg gold.
