Meet Mukesh Kumar's Wife, Divya Singh, Delhi Capitals Player's Cousin's SIL, Had Love At First Sight

Mukesh Kumar is a well-known Indian international cricketer. He made his first-class debut during the 2015-2016 Ranji Trophy. In December 2015, he made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy that year. Next year, in January 2016, he made his Twenty20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Mukesh made his T20I debut in the August 2023 match against West Indies. Currently, Mukesh is hogging the limelight for his performance in the 2026 Indian Premier League as a part of the Delhi Capitals. Amid this, many have become curious about his wife, Divya Singh.

A few years ago, on March 26, 2023, Mukesh Kumar got engaged to the love of his life, Divya Singh. From photos of the ceremony, which made the rounds on social media, the couple could be seen looking like a match made in heaven as they chose to twin in matching lavender-hued outfits. While Divya wore a gorgeous lavender gown, Mukesh looked handsome in a matching pantsuit.

Mukesh Kumar tied the knot with Divya Singh in November 2023. Their wedding ceremony was as dreamy as one can imagine. In one photo from the ceremony, the duo can be seen performing the varmala ceremony. For the big day, Mukesh wore an ivory-hued bandhgala sherwani featuring self-designs. Perfectly complementing its sober colour, the sherwani also had beautiful golden-bead buttons. The cricketer paired his outfit with a matching doshala with embellished red borders and a white pagdi.  

Coming to the star of the ceremony, Divya, she was the most gorgeous sight in a red lehenga. What stood out in her outfit was its intricate cut and stone work, which covered it all over. Divya completed the look with red chooda, statement jewellery, and sheen makeup.

Similar to their engagement and wedding, fans had also got glimpses into Divya and Mukesh's mehendi ceremony, which was all things adorable. During the ceremony, Divya and her groom could be seen dancing their hearts out to the popular song, Lollypop Lagelu. For Divya's mehendi look, she wore a green-hued dupatta along with a heavily embellished choli and a sheer dupatta. She kept her accessories comparatively simple, pairing the outfit with a dainty neckpiece and stud earrings. She left her hair in a half-up, half-down hairdo, and wore sheen makeup and a bindi to tie her whole look together. In addition to her outfit, Divya and Mukesh's shaking legs evidenced the joy and happiness they felt at the moment.

If a report by India.com is to be believed, one of Mukesh's close friends had revealed that the cricketer first met the love of his life at a family function. Well, the family function in question was held at Mukesh's cousin's in-laws' house, which was located in Chapra, Bout four and a half years ago. There he met his cousin's sister-in-law, who, as you can already guess, was none other than Divya Singh. Apparently, both Mukesh and Divya were attracted to each other at first sight.

According to reports, Divya and Mukesh had dated for around 4 years before they got married. During this time, Divya had visited several stadiums to watch Mukesh's cricket matches and support him from the sidelines. However, it is worth noting that at the time, no one knew the duo were dating.

On June 28, 2025, it was revealed that Divya and Mukesh embraced parenthood for the first time. According to reports, they welcomed a baby boy, marking a joyous new chapter in the couple's life. It was Mukesh who first shared the heartwarming news with his fans on social media. Taking to his Instagram, Mukesh posted a black-and-white photo of himself and Divya holding their baby boy's tiny hand. He captioned the sweet photo, “A New chapter begins…with the tiniest heartbeat.”
