For Palki, her career is not just a source of income but a medium with which she brings the truth to people who blindly believe in her reporting.

Palki is hailed in her field as a journalist who is not scared to voice her opinion without raising her tone. She is known for her subtle dig at politicians and is loved by the viewers for her outspoken criticism. Palki recently grabbed a lot of attention during Operation Sindoor. Born in Pilani, Rajasthan and raised in Delhi, Palki Sharma had many interests from a young age, and her father encouraged her to pursue medicine. But, since she loved writing, she chose the English language and started writing for local newspapers during her college time. While she was in her second year, Palki was approached by a person from Doordarshan in 2002 with a job offer as a news anchor and reporter.

While in Doordarshan, Palki Sharma applied for a job in Hindustan Times and began her career in print as a Staff Writer in HT. From reading, writing and formatting stories, Palki spent long hours perfecting her craft. In 2005, she joined CNN-News18 as an anchor and Senior Editor, where she conducted interviews with some of the most eminent personalities.

From CNN-IBN, Palki moved to WION (World Is One News) as a Managing Editor, where she hosted international news and worked on programs like Gravitas and Vantage by Palki Sharma. In 2022, Palki joined Firstpost and is currently the face of the channel. Palki has won many accolades for her contribution towards journalism and her fearless anchoring.

In 2007, she was awarded the Best News Reader Award. She was also awarded the "Best International News Show" in English for "Gravitas". In 2023, she was awarded the Bharat Asmita Jana Jagaran Shreshta Award for the best use of mass media.
