On December 18, 2025, the makers announced that the female protagonist is none other than actress, Kayadu Lohar.

Kayadu rose to fame with the Tamil comedy-drama film, Dragon. She shared the screen space with the Dude actor, Pradeep Ranganathan in the film. While their on-screen chemistry became the talk of the town, it was their real-life dating rumour that stole the spotlight. Who is Kayadu Lohar?

According to a report by News Canvas, Kayadu Lohar was born in Tezpur, Assam. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. She stepped into the glitz and glamour world with her participation in a jewellery pageant contest. This baby step helped Kayadu to win the Times of India’s Everyuth Fresh Face Season 12. This win paved her way into the world of modelling and acting.

In 2021, Kayadu made her acting debut with the Kannada film, Mugilpetet. The next year, in 2022, she made her Malayalam film debut with the period action film, Pathonpatham Noottandu. She starred in the Telugu film, Alluri. She also worked in a Marathi film, I Prem U. However, it was the Tamil film, Dragon, that made Kayadu an overnight star.

Besides being an actor, Dulquer is a film producer. He has his own production house, Wayfarer Films. For the unversed, Nahas Hidhayath’s upcoming film, I’m Game, is produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films. On December 18, 2025, the production house shared an official tweet and welcomed Kayadu Lohar as a cast member. The tweet can be read as:

For the uninitiated, Kayadu and Pradeep Ranganathan shared screen space in the film, Dragon, which was released theatrically on February 21, 2025. While their chemistry left the audience in awe, it was their dating rumours that became the talk of the town. Reacting to the buzz, Kayadu, in an interview with Times Now, shared that it was completely baseless. In her words:

"What dating rumours? I am very happy in my relationship with work"!

In the same interview, Kayadu shared that acting isn’t just her career but her lifelong passion. She expressed her wish to continue it till her last breath. The Dragon actress stated that she wanted to do something bigger for society. She highlighted how she had been engaged with old age homes and animal welfare. The I’m Game actress mentioned that she wanted to serve people beyond the screen. She was quoted as saying:

"Acting isn’t just my career, it’s my lifelong passion, and I’ll continue doing it till my last breath. Beyond that, I want to give back to society in a bigger way. I already do my part for old age homes and animal welfare, but if my career flourishes and I earn well, I would love to contribute on a much larger scale. Moreover, I’ve always been interested in serving people beyond the screen, and if the right opportunity comes, I would be open to taking on greater responsibilities for the betterment of society."
