On January 20, 2024, Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik took to his official Instagram account to announce his marriage to Pakistani actress, Sana Javed. In the first-ever pictures from their wedding ceremony, the newlyweds, Shoaib and Sana, were all smiles as they posed in front of the camera. While the 41-year-old cricketer was seen wearing a white sherwani with intricate golden detailing all over it, on the other hand, his bride, Sana, looked drop-dead gorgeous in golden-hued bridal joda featuring heavy threadwork all over it. She paired her joda with polka jewellery comprising a necklace, earrings, maang teeka, and paasa. Shoaib captioned his post as “Alhamdullilah. ‘And We created you in pairs’"
There were rumours about the duo dating since last year. The cricketer added fuel to the fire when he wished Sana a happy birthday on March 25, 2023. Shoaib Malik captioned the post as "Happy Birthday, Buddy", and shared a photo of them together on his Instagram account.

Sana Javed is a popular Pakistani actress, who debuted in the world of glitz and glam in 2012. Since then, she has worked on several projects, namely, Shehr-e-Zaat, Pyarey Afzal, Zara Yaad Kar, Ruswal, Dunk, Intezaar, Khaani and many more. Sana is currently working in the ARY Digital drama, Sukoon, which is garnering much viewership nowadays.
Before tying the knot with Shoaib Malik, the 30-year-old actress was married to Umair Jaswal, who is a Pakistani singer, music producer and lyricist, and also the brother of famous singers, Yasir Jaswal and Uzair Jaswal. The former couple used to be one of the most loved couples in Pakistan. Sana and Umair said ‘Qubool hai’ to each other in a small and intimate wedding ceremony in 2020. Their adorable chemistry enchanted the hearts of thousands of their fans.
After their marriage, Sana and Umair used to keep their fans updated with glimpses of their daily life and romantic moments, giving major couple goals. However, rumours of their separation started making rounds in the media when they stopped posting pictures with each other. Around November 2023, both Umair and Sana deleted their couple photos including pictures from their wedding, Eid celebrations and various other occasions.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik, got married twice before tying the knot with Sana Javed. He was married to Ayesha Siddiqui for eight years from 2002-2010. The 41-year-old cricketer then got hitched to the acclaimed Indian tennis player, Sania Mirza in 2010. The estranged couple’s wedding ceremony became the talk of the town back then due to their extravagant cross-border marriage. Sania and Shoaib welcomed their baby boy, Izhaan in 2018. However, in the last few years, there were rumours that the Mirza-Malik couple got separated and are currently co-parenting their son.
On January 17, 2024, Sania Mirza also shared a cryptic post on her Instagram account indicating divorce between her and Shoaib Malik. Her post can be read as:
