Sitara Ghattamaneni made her first on-screen appearance with her daddy dearest, Mahesh Babu, in the song, Penny. The dance video from the film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata marks Sitara’s first on-screen appearance, and she was highly praised for her amazing moves. Sitara has also lent her voice to the character of 'baby Elsa' in the Telugu version of Frozen 2.
At the age of 11, Sitara Ghattamaneni became the face of the jewellery brand. In July 2023, the little girl was announced as the brand ambassador of PMJ Jewels. It was a great achievement for Sitara to grab such a big opportunity at such a young age.

Sitara is the first star kid to appear in Times Square as the jewellery brand unveiled Sitara’s face at the iconic Times Square in New York City. Her delighted father, Mahesh Babu, couldn’t hide his excitement and posted glimpses of the proud moment. He took to his IG handle and shared beautiful pictures of the same. Sitara looked like a princess in the pictures, dazzled by the jewellery. Her charming face and smile in her traditional avatar were simply unmissable. Along with the pictures, Mahesh wrote:
“Lighting up the Times Square!! So so proud of you my fire cracker. Continue to dazzle and shine!!"
Sitara Ghatamaneni was paid a hefty sum of Rs. 1 crore as the brand ambassador of PMJ Jewels. However, the little star donated her first paycheck to charity for the needy. Sitara’s act not only made her parents, Mahesh and Namrata, proud but also earned her huge applause from her fans.

Sitara Ghattamaneni grabbed headlines when she celebrated her 12th birthday with Navya Sri, the daughter of a daily wage worker. Sitara also gifted Navya Sri a laptop and a stethoscope for excelling in NEET exams. On the other hand, Sitara’s mother, Namrata Shirodkar, also shared the news that the Mahesh Babu Foundation, through the Superstar Krishna Educational Fund, will be sponsoring Navya Sri's education until she completes medical school.
In February 2024, Sitara’s parents, Mahesh and Namrata, informed the star kid’s fans about Sitara falling prey to cybercrime. It so happened that an unidentified person created a fake Instagram account in Sitara’s name and started misleading her followers with false trade and investment links. Police officials issued a public warning against the imposter.
Sitara is completing her schooling at CHIREC International School in Hyderabad. Apart from being an actress and social media influencer, Sitara is a classical dancer, having trained in Kuchipudi and Ballet. She knows how to play guitar and also loves painting.
