Priya Sachdev Kapur is an Indian-American businesswoman, born and raised in Delhi. She is the daughter of a prominent car dealer, Ashok Sachdev and his wife, Pinky Sachdev. After completing her schooling at The British School, Priya went to London and pursued business management at the London School of Economics.

Priya began her career as a Financial Analyst in Boston. After working there for some time, she returned to India to join her family business, The Sachdev Group (TSG) Automotive, one of the largest car dealers in India.

Priya entered the showbiz in the 2000s and appeared in many commercials and music videos. She also worked with Kareena Kapoor in the popular Lux Body Wash advertisement. Priya later made her Bollywood debut with Yash Chopra’s romantic comedy film, Neal ‘n’ Nikki, which starred Uday Chopra and Tanishaa Mukherji. Priya has been also featured in Indian editions of Elle Magazines and Cosmopolitan.

Their guests included international celebs like Bill Clinton, Sean Combs, Patricia Velásquez, Naomi Campbell, and Lakshmi Mittal amongst others. Priya Sachdev’s hush-hush marriage with Sunjay Kapur

Priya Sachdev met Sunjay Kapur in 2012 and they got along instantly. They dated for five years before getting married in 2017 after Sunjay’s divorce from Karisma was finalised. Priya and Sunjay’s wedding was a hush-hush affair in the presence of close family and friends. In a throwback interview with The Economic Times, Priya revealed the reason behind opting for an intimate marriage and said that both her and Sunjay’s previous weddings were a big public affair and they didn’t want the same.

After their divorce, Priya co-parented her daughter, Safira Chatwal, with Vikram Chatwal. On the other hand, Sunjay co-parented his kids, Samaira and son Kiaan with Karisma Kapoor. In December 2018, Sunjay and Priya welcomed their son Azarias. In the same interview, Priya described Sunjay as an amazing father and said:

“Both of us have never tried to instil any negativity in our children towards our ex-spouses.”
