Meghan Markle Shuts Down Her Divorce Buzz With Prince Harry, Says, 'It's More A Honeymoon Period...'

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan’s wedding with Prince was the most watched royal wedding in the world. However, the royal couple has been making headlines sparking divorce rumours. In the recent past, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen making many solo engagements to focus on their individual aspirations. These solo adventures of the duo sparked buzz that something was wrong in their paradise. In a recent podcast, Meghan shuts down the buzz related to her split with Prince Harry.

For the first time, Meghan Markle, marked her presence in a podcast and joined friend and IT Cosmetics CEO Jamie Kern Lima’s podcast, titled The Jamie Kern Lima Show. In the chit-chat, Meghan broke her silence by saying that both she and Prince Harry share a beautiful bond and it’s been a 7-year-long journey. She also described her journey with Harry and playfully compared it with the famous 1985 Nintendo game. She also said that her husband, Prince Harry has a very good heart. Speaking of the same, Meghan said:

“‘H’, that man loves me so much and you know, look what we’ve built. We built a beautiful life and we have two healthy, beautiful children. I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Brothers when you get to the final level and what’s the goal? They’re like slay the dragon, save the princess. That’s my husband. He’s also a fox, if you haven’t noticed. My husband’s very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful."

In the same podcast, Meghan Markle also sheds light on how the initial days of dating were. She shared that with time, every relationship evolves, and thus, it is like enjoying each other’s company in a new way. Meghan also replied in a positive way and said ‘yes’ when asked whether her forever journey with Harry is still lasting. Speaking of the same, Meghan said:

“You have to imagine, at the beginning it’s like butterflies, and then we immediately went into the trenches together right out of the gate, six months into dating. So, now seven years later when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way. And that’s why I feel like it’s more of a honeymoon period for us now."

For those unversed, Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry in 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. In 2016, the duo met for the first time. The royal couple, Meghan and Harry’s marriage was the most-watched royal wedding in the world. On their wedding, Meghan got the title of the Duchess of Sussex. The duo welcomed their first kid, Prince Archie, in 2019 and their second kid, Princess Lilibet, in 2021. Currently, the royal couple is residing in the United States with their beautiful kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
