Aladdin actor Mena Massoud and Jungle Cry actress Emily Shah have exchanged their vows, tied the knot, and said 'yes' to forever in a beautiful, multicultural ceremony. The couple had tied the knot in a desi Hindu wedding ceremony in July 2025 and have made their special day public this weekend with pictures and videos that have the entire internet in awe. The couple who dated for four years in Tuscany, Italy, have finally started their life as 'Mr and Mrs.' and fans are elated for them.

However, it was their gorgeous wedding pictures that took the internet by storm. For the uninitiated, Mena Massoud and Emily Shah got engaged in 2023 and have since tied the knot. And since Mena's family immigrated to Canada from Egypt when he was three years old, and Emily's father is Gujarati. At the same time, her mom is American, so the couple decided to honour their roots in their entirety.

To honour both their roots, Mena Massoud and Emily Shah had a multi-cultural wedding ceremony in Italy, where they had a Hindu wedding, followed by a Christian one. Emily donned a beautiful red saree for the Hindu ceremony, while Mena looked handsome in a cream sherwani, followed by matching white ensembles for their Christian ceremony. Mena and Emily shared a glimpse of their gorgeous wedding ceremonies and made a joint post with the caption:

"The wedding of our dreams. From our engagement in Japan to our wedding in Italy… let’s do this habibi."

Emily Shah, in a conversation with Vogue India, revealed that she met Mena Massoud through a dating app in 2018. And while dating apps cannot be deemed the most authentic way to find your soulmate, things worked out in favour of Emily and Mena. The latter popped the big question in Japan 2023, and the actress said yes. The couple had planned to tie the knot within six months of the proposal, but they decided to take their time getting married and finally had their fairytale wedding in Tuscany.

For the unversed, Mena rose to fame with the 2019 live adaptation of the Disney classic, Aladdin. He was most recently seen in Wish You Were Here in 2025 and will soon star in Tecie. On the other hand, Emily, who played a supporting role in the 2002 Jimmy Shergill and Kim Sharma-starrer Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar and the 2023 Abhay Deol-starrer Jungle Cry, has also acted in films such as The Great New Wonderful and Fortune Defies Death.
