Michele's Last Post Featured Son Who Killed Her And Rob Reiner, Director Spoke On Being 'Better Dad'

Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, were allegedly killed by their son, Nick. Reportedly, Nick slit their throats and then stabbed them multiple times to death. Nick was arrested a few hours after the news broke out. Nick Reiner has been a drug addict, and he has had 17-18 shifts in rehab. After coming out of rehab, he penned the screenplay for Being Charlie, which brought him closer to his dad.

As Nick's brutal actions left everyone terrified, people have been digging more details about him and his family dynamics. Recently, an old interview clip of Rob Reiner, talking about him being a better father, made rounds on social media, along with Michele's last IG post.

After the news of the brutal murder of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner surfaced on social media, people dug up an old post of the latter. On her social media, Michele's last post featured her, Rob, and their kids alongside Paul McCartney. The post dated back to March 2024. However, no sooner had people dug out the post than they started expressing their shock over Nick committing this brutal crime of killing his parents, who seemed to be devoted to their parental duties. For the unversed, Nick is currently held in a Los Angeles County jail without bail, as confirmed by the police.

Rob Reiner talked about being a better father to Nick Reiner

Nick Reiner was only 15 years old when he became addicted to drugs. After getting to know the same, Rob and Michele weren't angry, but they wanted to help their son, which led them to take Nick to rehab. Well, when Nick came out of rehab, he wanted to look at life with a clean, new perspective. He wrote the screenplay for the movie Being Charlie with one of his mates from rehab.

It was Rob Reiner, who became the director of the movie, and working on this project brought the father-son duo closer. Recently, a video of Rob and Nick went viral on social media, wherein the duo talked about how the project improved their relationship. Rob mentioned that he and Nick had their fair share of fights, but while working on the movie, which was loosely connected to their real-life story, they came closer.

Rob, in the interview, said that he could understand that when a child faces a tough phase, his/her parents become their safe place, and the parents should provide that space to their kids. He also mentioned that he could understand his son, Nick, better after working with him in the film, and it eventually led him to be a better father.

If the reports are to be believed, the day Nick committed the crime, he had a fight with his parents at a Christmas party, as Rob and Michele felt that their son was back on the drug addiction. Nick reportedly didn't want to go back to the rehab, which further intensified their fight. It was that night only, when Nick reportedly killed his parents at their L.A home.
