It was back in 2018 when Variety reported that Zoya Akhtar was going to don the director's hat to bring the adaptation of Archie Comics with a series of celebrity kids. After a lot of discussion about the cast, the team agreed to bring Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Aditi Saigal, Yuvraj Menda, and Mihir Ahuja as the film's main leads.
