Well, in a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Francesca Simons of Francesca Simons Consulting, a rep for jewelry designer, Jacquie Aiche, confirmed that the latter made the "bespoke" ring, which features a cushion-cut stone set on a thick, 14-karat yellow gold band.

Blue Nile's VP of merchandising, Daniela Tarantino, estimates that the ring could be worth up to USD 450,000. Daniela shared that the engagement ring was a "chunky gold east-west bezel set". She called it a modern and chic trend they have been seeing recently in the bridal industry. She further commented on the ring's price and said, "We believe the ring is roughly a 4-5 carat modified cushion that costs around USD 300,000 to USD 450,000."

Brand ambassador for Worthy and a former Antiques Roadshow appraiser, Reyne Hirsch also commented on the ring's price. During a candid exchange with PEOPLE, Reyne revealed how much he believes the ring could be estimated around. He added that in his opinion, the retail value of Miley Cyrus' engagement ring could be somewhere between USD 150,000 and USD 250,000. He was quoted as saying:

"The ring is stunning with a very modern and minimalist look to it. It's a 4-5 carat, bezel-set, cushion-cut diamond that is set east-to-west. Depending on the color and clarity of the stone, I would suggest a retail value of USD 150,000-USD 250,000."

Another diamond jewelry expert, Kristy Cullinane, commented on the ring's price. For those who are not aware, Kristy is also the co-founder of Plum Diamonds. She mentioned some details about Miley Cyrus' engagement ring and added that several factors could affect the price. She noted that one of these conditions is to consider whether the diamond is mined or lab-grown. Kristy confirmed that the "diamond appears to be approximately 4 to 5 carats". She further estimated the value of the ring and said that it "would be USD 200,000+ for a mined diamond or USD 15,000 for a lab-grown diamond."
