Mira posted a picture with Shahid Kapoor, from their way to the airport a few days ago. While Mira had opted for a pink sweatshirt, white trousers and a matching pink baby-pink mask, Shahid had also kept it casual in a grey sweatshirt and black track pants. Giving a hilarious take on the current situation of meeting strangers in the new normal, Mira’s picture was captioned as "I’m not the only one!" and “*Meeting a stranger in a mask* Hello! How are you! Khana Kha Ke Jaana" written on it. The popular dialogue is of her mother-in-law and Shahid’s stepmom, Supriya Pathak’s character in Khichdi, Hansa.
A few days ago, Mira Rajput Kapoor had posted an IG story, revealing the good morning messages her hubby, Shahid Kapoor sends her. Mira had reposted a video from the Instagram page, Pubity, which was titled “Flinching at my wife and kids to see their reaction.” Mira had written, “Good morning messages from the hub @shahidkapoor” followed by a speechless emoji atop it. Later, Mira had revealed in one of her IG stories that Shahid often sends her such DMs and now, she will make a series of them. Sharing another example of #DMsfromthehusband, Mira reposted a video on her IG handle and captioned it with the hashtag of her series. Since Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor have returned to Punjab to their little ones, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor after completing their professional commitments in Goa and Mumbai, the star wife gave a glimpse of their holiday home. Posting a video capturing the beautiful corners of their farmhouse, Mira captioned the post as “Staying-in kinda mood… what does yours look like?” Speaking about the farmhouse, where they had spent the lockdown and are currently staying, Mira had said in an interview with The Times of India, “It’s like we are back to living life the old way, with clean air and the kids playing in the mud. It’s just the way we played while growing up. I am a big foodie, and I am enjoying cooking with the fresh vegetables that we grow on the farm.”
Once in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, Mira Rajput Kapoor had answered a lot of questions from her fans, related to her favourite food, jewellery, motherhood and her life as Mrs Kapoor. But what had caught our attention was when Mira was asked about her favourite Indian dish and her list had included one made by her father-in-law, Pankaj Kapur. When a fan had asked Mira, “What’s your favourite Indian food?” she had replied, “Dal Makhani, Paneer Makhani, Baigan Bharta, Soya Chaap, Gheeya/tori in any form, my mom’s kashiphal, Mom’s parantha, Gujrati Kadhi, Appam and Stew, Spicy Rasam, Poha, My FIL’s Orange Paneer.
