Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, is a wonderful woman and a doting mother to their children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. She is a perfect example of a working mom, who is managing her home, work, and her kids at the same time like a pro. Time and again, Shahid has stated that Mira has indeed turned his house into a home. Well, there's no denying the fact that Mira is an excellent homemaker, and now she's taking notes on space allocation as her family is all set to move into their new abode.
For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor's new home is located in the plush area of Worli, Mumbai. Their duplex, on the 42nd and 43rd floors of Tower B of Three Sixty West, costs a whopping amount of Rs. 55.60 crores. In August 2019, there were reports that Shahid and Mira’s Worli home was ready for them to move in. However, owing to the pandemic, the couple couldn't move into their new home, and the surge in COVID-19 cases had delayed their plans. Now, the couple is ready to shift to their new abode with their kids.
A few moments back, Mira Rajput took to her IG handle and dropped two pictures on her IG story. Sharing the pictures, Mira asked her fans to send suggestions for planning space allocation for her kitchen in her new home. Mira shared that she wants a masala/tadka friendly kitchen and also mentioned some of the organisational tips given to her by her friends. Atop one of the pictures, Mira penned:
"Not my nightstand today and this time asking you all for suggestions. We are moving to our new home soon and just as I thought I have taken all the decisions I could I realised that was just a start.... Currently planning my kitchen and I want to make it as efficient, sturdy, neat and masala/tadka friendly. Do share your organisational hacks/secrets. I have borrowed my friend's idea of integrating a Matka into the dispenser system so no countertop traffic, recommended cookware (to last), indigenous methods of cooking to be brought back, next level efficient appliances (no burnouts thanks). Even inventory management we all have systems and sometimes somebody is just better."
On January 13, 2022, Mira had taken to her Instagram handle and had reshared her designer's IG story. In the video, we could see a glimpse of her home under construction. However, the view outside of their home had won our hearts. Sharing the IG story, Mira had written:
"Not much longer to go. Tick Tick Boom."
On October 5, 2021, Mira Rajput Kapoor had shared a glimpse of their new abode, which was under construction. A few days back, in an interview with ETimes, Shahid Kapoor had talked about moving into their new abode. He had mentioned that he and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, have purchased their new flat keeping their children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, in mind. The actor had compared families to an adrak (ginger) and had explained:
"We needed more space for our kids (Misha and Zain). We really liked the house we saw. It had a great vibe. It’s a bigger space than what we have right now. The kids are growing up and they will need this kind of space. Right now, everything in my house is my kids’ space. Mira and I need our space, too. With passing time, making more room for the family is extremely important. Family adrak ki tarah hoti hai, failti rehti hai. It grows and that feels wonderful. And as it grows, you have to be able to accommodate it with all its increasing needs.”
We cannot wait to see glimpses of Shahid and Mira's new home!
