There’s a thing about a father-daughter relationship. Call it nature’s functioning or what, all the daughters reading this will surely agree on the fact that they are more attached to their fathers, more than anyone else! A father is the first man a daughter encounters in this planet and since then, he becomes her greatest teacher, protector and superhero. Agreed? Things are no different when it comes to our favourite celebrities or their star wives. Just like Shahid Kapoor, his beautiful 24-year-old Dilliwali biwi, Mira Rajput Kapoor has achieved an equal superstar status. Giving major wifey, mommy, daughter and daughter-in-law goals to all, you name it and this lady has it all! And just like any doting daughter, looks like Mira is extremely attached to her father. Earlier this year (2018), Mrs Kapoor took to Instagram and posted a beautiful picture of her father which she captioned as, “My strength and weakness #Dad.” Here’s the picture:

And today (November 26, 2018), is Mira’s father, Vikramaditya Rajput’s 60th birthday. On this happy occasion, Mira took to Instagram and posted a few pictures and some adorable moments with her father, which she captioned as, “Happy 60th Dad. From you we have learned to love, to pray, to excel, to thank, to live.” Didn’t that simply melt your heart? Take a look at all the pictures here:
Do you know, right after their daughter, Misha’s birth, Shahid had apologised to Mira’s father-in-law? Why so? In an interview with Filmfare, Shahid had revealed, “I was both ecstatic and scared. I began thinking of Mira's father and how he must have felt when he gave away his baby, his daughter to this strange guy, an actor from Mumbai with a ponytail and coloured hair, who perhaps thought he was a 'cool dude'.” (Don't Miss! He further stated, “I called him up instantly and apologised if I had troubled him at any point. I may have overlooked his point of view somewhere, regarding something which may have been important to him, this realisation came when I held a baby girl in my hands when I felt vulnerable. I don't want anything to go wrong with her ever. I guess, being a man I always thought of as a man. But holding a baby girl gave me a new perspective. It changes everything.”

During a special screening of Shahid’s megahit, Padmaavat, we caught a glimpse of a rare and unseen picture of the Rajput and Kapoor khaandaan. At the screening, Shahid was accompanied by his mother Neelima Azim, half-brother, Ishaan Khatter, wife, Mira Rajput and his in-laws. Shutterbugs immediately captured moments from their meet and that is how we get to catch a glimpse of the iconic family in the picture below:
Very recently, Mira was clicked by shutterbugs at the airport and was trolled for giving her child to a nanny. Remember when Mira had stated, “I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work. Why did I have her? She is not a puppy, you know. I want to be there for her as a mother, seeing her grow up cannot be quantified.” Mrs Kapoor was also widely compared to Shahid’s ex, Kareena Kapoor. With Misha always garnering the ‘centre of attraction’ space, how did she deal with a newborn around? Mira had once shared before Zain’s birth, “This time I already have a toddler around and keeping a balance between the one you have and the one that's on its way is very important. Everything changes, and you don't want that the one who has been the apple of your eyes for so long and feels that she's the centre of your world to feel neglected and ignored. That is very important.” (Also Read: Deepika Padukone And Sabyasachi Mukherjee Trolled Again For Her 'Frida Kahlo Inspired Look')
Mira and Shahid were blessed with a baby boy, Zain Kapoor on September 05, 2018. And ever since, the Batti Gul Meter Chalu star has been asked multiple questions about embracing parenthood for the second time. In an interview with Mid-Day, Shahid had shared before Zain’s birth, “It’s completely different this time. I think we are calmer and more relaxed.” He further added, “Mira and I would be asking questions and having doubts. But this time around, we feel like veterans. We have done it once, so we can handle it this time around.”
Having said this, we wish Mira’s father, Vikramaditya Rajput, a very happy birthday!
